[not a bug] Clientedit Hook doesn't send custom fields

Simple enough to explain this one

 

If you have custom fields setup for clients, these are not send in the $vars array for the ClientEdit hook.

 

Thus, a user can make changes to these fields and I have no way of automatically acting on the info (without doing my own db calls of course)

It doesn't look like custom client fields are returned in the clientedit hook:

You would have to do a direct database query.

We actually have a different hook point which is used when saving custom fields.
