[confirmed] undefined method WHMCS_Application::get_user_ip()

Trigger: User creating support ticket.

Since: upgrade 5.3.8

Consecuences: users can open new support tickets.

What version of PHP are you using? This seems like the same type of IP issue, being it's erroring on the "get_user_ip" function:

Same error for me on domainchecker.php, but only when logged in. I can get rid of the error by changing the CAPTCHA option to Default instead of reCAPTCHA.

 

This started after upgrade to v5.3.8.

I found the error:

 

submitting a ticket requires all fields (priority, departamentc, etc...) It was commented in my tempalte. I put it back and it works now.

This is a known regression when using the ReCAPTCHA validation. It has been given case #4851. You can work around this by switching to the default captcha validation.
