[resolved] Emtpy emails after upgrading

Hi,

 

Cron emails empty after upgrading to 5.3.7

 

Database Backup email empty.

Cron Job Activity email empty.

Domain Synchronisation Cron Report email empty.

We have had a number of reports of this occurring and initial investigations have shown that this issue is caused by either an empty or invalid Mail Encoding value being present in your WHMCS configuration. Therefore if you're experiencing this issue, please navigate to Setup > General Settings > Mail and ensure that “8bit” (this is the recommended encoding type) is selected in the "Mail Encoding" drop down and click Save to ensure that value is selected. Then attempt email sending again.

 

If you experience any further problems with it, please let us know.

I had this to, and when I went to Setup > General Settings > Mail the 8bit setting seemed to be the one selected. I saved anyway and tested.. the emails now seem to work.

Hi, I have the same problem. I went to Setup >> General Settings >> Mail and the 8bit were already selected. I pressed the save button but when I send invoices, the e-mail message is OK but there is no pdf attachment in the e-mail.

That sounds like a different issue. Can you open up a support ticket so our Tech Analysts can investigate it further?

I had the same problem, simply whent to the general settings > mail tab changes from 8bit and pressed save and then turned it back to 8 bit. Works like a charm again
