    If your hosting a WP site and WHMCS in the same cPanel account, you have no business hosting other people’s sites.
  3. Yep - Reselling Weebly is silly - Given they compete directly at prices you cant beat, with more features. I tried, gave up VERY quickly.
  4. I just discovered the downloads.php file hasn't been updated in my install since 17/07/2017. (im on 7.6.1 - updated always via the automatic updater) I notice elsewhere in the forums that people have had this issue in the past - But its obviously still not fixed, nor detected during the upgrade process. I just downloaded the full version from my client area and will upload just that one file so that its updated.. But can someone check as to why its not being updated by the updater.

    downloads.php - Not updated

    I just checked my other install of WHMCS (also 7.6.1 latest) and the downloads.php file in this install is dated - wait for it - 02/10/2016!! I have now updated both installs with the downloads.php file from the full installation file from my client area. The upgrader really needs to verify the files and report discrepancies?

  7. My todo list is now full of thousands of todo's for services that don't use a provisioning module. For example, I resell Office365 and each time a mailbox is due for renewal I get a todo entry. In the past, this hasn't been the case. What changed here and how can I change it back? Each morning i need to clean it out, below is a screen shot with two of the manual renewal required things that have started to appear after the 7.6 upgrade.
  8. I have a client with two .com domains. They expired as the client hasn't paid the invoice. The domains are currently in the grace period. I noticed today when I visit the domain in the admin area of WHMCS I see a red error - see screenshot. Should this be happening? The domain is only in the grace period. it hasn't even entered redemption yet. Note: As of today, running 7.6.0 - and only noticed this after the upgrade (thou, it could have been doing it prior)
  9. Yep, I understand that.. I just didn’t expect the error display. am I correct in thinking WHMCS will detect the domain going into redemption ? and if the customer renews by paying the invoice it will renew for them?

  11. Today I started getting OPPS errors in WHMCS when trying to process customers cards. Whoops\Exception\ErrorException: SOAP-ERROR: Encoding: object has no 'IsActive' property in /home/account/public_html/modules/gateways/ewaytokens.php:0 Stack trace: #0 /home/account/public_html/vendor/whmcs/whmcs-foundation/lib/Utility/Error/Run.php(0): WHMCS\Utility\Error\Run->handleError(1, 'SOAP-ERROR: Enc...', '/home/account/p...', 0) #1 [internal function]: WHMCS\Utility\Error\Run->handleShutdown() #2 {main} This module and install of whmcs (7.5.1) has been working fine for as long as I can remember. cpanel did update to 72 recently, so may be the cause, i just dont know what to do to fix.. Any ideas?
  12. Thanks - it’s good to hear there was some follow up. would it be possible to improve this module as soon as possible with the following: 1. Make it possible for a client to store their card (create token) from within their client area without having to pay an invoice. Currently this isn’t possible and very frustrating. 2. Update the card entry UI on payment page - of a user enters a card with spaces the transaction fails, but not gracefully. They are not even given an error. It’s quite a poor integration given the size of eWAY, and the fact that WHMCS is a billing system. These two things would improve it.
  13. eWay have rolled out a fix to their production environment. However I'm not sure if they still want WHMCS to change something in the module or not. I have asked them to take a look at this community topic and then to communicate with WHMCS. Bottom line, this shouldn't have happened. It broke our CRON and our admin area ability to process cards for several days.

Peter, not sure what your case is about, but it’s unrelated to the current issue that has only been in existence for 48 hours. eWAY obviously rolled out a change to production servers which complexity broke the existing integration. Cron payments as well as admin area captures are currently broke. WHMCS and eWAY need the communicate directly regarding the sub par module - including clarifying this ‘is active’ property AND the other issues with this module that I have previously documented. The most important of which is not being able to store a card number (create token) without there being a due invoice to pay. This is so insane it would be funny if it wasn’t true.
  15. EWAY have confirmed they will be rolling out a fix tomorrow morning. Not sure on the timing thou. Basically, they screwed up and are going to fix.
  16. Its an eWay issue relating to a deployment they did to their gateway, breaking the WHMCS integration. They are apparently going to do another deployment in the next 'few days' to fix it.. Meanwhile, we cant process transactions. Not WHMCS's fault - thou someone should look into this 'IsActive' field and ensure WHMCS is treating it as per the Rapid API docs.

  19. More on this issue.. It seems the current version of WHMCS talks to eWays legacy token gateway. (this seems to contradict the documentation here: https://docs.whmcs.com/EWAY_Rapid_3.1 Something has changed, and its stopped WHMCS from working with eWay. eWay support said they are looking at it their end and if necessary will communicate with WHMCS - meanwhile all users of the current version of WHMCS cant process cards.
  20. WHMCS support = zero help.. eWay have confirmed they are getting calls from multiple merchants about this and have put their dev team to work on it. Hoping someone at WHMCS can collaborate with them and get it sorted.
  21. Hi I'm trying to roll out Weebly via market connect however before I unleash it I need to understand how it works. I'm stuck understanding the difference between a customer purchasing it as an ADD ON to an existing or new cPanel hosting account and simply just purchasing it. In the client area, the customer seems to be able to purchase any of the three Weebly plans - However, I cannot see this working as I have not configured nor am able to configure those products to create a specific plan on a specific hosting server. So from what I can see, it would create a Weebly product that has nowhere to go? There is ZERO documentation on this. It also seems to be purchasable as an 'add on' product, however, I can't see this working for me as I would want a dedicated plan on my cPanel servers for this rather than customers being able to add on Weebly to existing sites. Can someone explain how the hell this works?!
  22. Hi Brian Thanks for this - I kind of worked out that using Market Connect, we do the hosting - Im fine with this - as long as the automation flow works this way, but it doesnt. A client can buy the 'weebly' service - not attached to a hosting account. So therefore it doesnot work. The order comes through for the weebly product - But what good is it to them? There is also the issue of pricing - I cant see how its even close to competitive. As it stands its not usable. Im happy for someone who thinks it is to educate me thou.
  23. I really need some help with this. Is there someone I can call and speak to? I cannot make heads nor tails of how this is supposed to work. Is there anyone else actually selling this product and if so, can you tell me how it works when someone 'buys' it from the client area? It would appear the client doesnt get a website - they just get weebly. (not much good to them).
  24. Hi Thanks for the reply, but its of no real help. I think what your telling me is that if a customer falls for the marketing material on the purpose built landing pages and clicks the sign up button, they end up buying a product thats actually non functional - Of no use to them unless we configure it somehow to link to an existing FTP/Hosting account. Can I ask, what good is this? I'll answer that for you - Its USELESS. For a start, weebly's advertised plans include hosting (at weebly). Why would a customer expect the prices advertised not to inlcude hosting? WTF. Unless im missing somthing, this is just another half baked integration without any real thought gone into real life usage. I was hoping for somthing better. Why the heck do you allow customers to buy it as a standalone product if its not functional? Crazy.
