Does anyone have the correct record for .work?

ultimately, I suspect it will use whois.nic.work, but for now try this...

.work|whois-dub.mm-registry.com|Not Registered

it's currently showing nic.work as registered, and google.work as available

Hello,

Do you have the correct settings to put on whoisservers.php file on WHMCS to .club domains?

I already tried the follow config:

.club|whois.nic.club|Not found

But is working in parts, the system show me that unavailable domains still are available, examples:

rotary.club

casino.club

beer.club

hotel.club

poker.club

Thank you.

has anyone else noticed severe rate limiting from whois.donuts.co?

i've been in contact with them about this issue today and they did say that they will consider my suggestion of relaxing the whois lookup throttling... but perhaps they were just being pleasant!

basically, the WHOIS service is limited to 10 queries per second on both port 43 and for HTTP access from one source IP - so if you query more than 10 a second you will be black listed.

they did mention a possible workaround - it's too late to play with the idea tonight, but i'll revisit it tomorrow and let you know if it works..

I'm not hitting them that hard - and I get throttled... grr..

I don't think that I do either...

Donuts does not white-list IP addresses for Whois queries. Instead Whois is rate limited at ten requests per second. Ensure that connections are closed after execution as the rate the limit is connection based.

If you continue to be affected by rate limiting, and are not hitting the 10 queries per second ceiling, please contact technical support providing the IP address you are connecting from, and a copy of your log file.

you could also try changing their order, in your Domain Pricing page in the Admin Area, so that they are not grouped together - i'm assuming whmcs looks them up in that order, so if you can spread them out a bit, it might buy you a little time between lookups and limit any throttling.

Hello all,

Apart from having to manually add each Whois line in which seems ludicrous that it's coming from a forum post and not directly from WHMCS support (I was directed to this post by support!) can someone help with the following please as they don't seem to have been listed so far:

.works

.villas

.expert

.rentals

Thanks

Mainly from Brian if we get stuck.. lol

with these donuts tlds, you can also use whois.nic.TLD (e.g whois.nic.works, whois.nic.villas etc) once the TLD is live... before (and after) the TLD goes live, you can still use whois.donuts.co - though either way you may run into the donuts whois server lookup limits.

on a related matter, as some of you may know i'm working on a new thoroughly-tested whoisservers.php replacement file (existing gtlds, cctlds and new & future tlds).

http://forum.whmcs.com/showthread.php?89163-New-TLD-s-WHMCS-needs-to-catch-a-wake-up&p=376127#post376127

the current WHMCS version contains duplicates, errors and is years out of date... there are around 450+ entries in it, but for my replacement version, i've now got as far as "X" (so i'm currently adding the IDN domains - .xn) and there are already over 2100 entries - all working.

i'll let you know when it's finished.

We are having trouble with .club

.club|whois.nic.club|Domain Not found - shows every unavailable

.club|whois.nic.club|Not found - shows everything available

Has anyone the correct format or whois server for this extension ?

the above is the correct entry for .club

it will show nic.club, landrush.club, google.club, get.club, bulc.club etc as registered - perhaps it's just not a popular TLD yet?

The ones you have listed I agree with, but when trying things like: fight.club , hosting.club they are showing available when they are not.
