  1. Hello community, Is there any way to serve web design service in whmcs with whmcs project management module that users can order and can view order tasks and progress? As like fiverr.?
  2. Hello, I'm trying to translate Project Management addon, but I cannot find a logical translation for the below strings: $_ADDONLANG['editedadminfortimeid'] = "Edited Admin for Time ID - "; $_ADDONLANG['editedstarttimefortimeid'] = "Edited Start Time for Time ID - "; $_ADDONLANG['editedendtimefortimeid'] = "Edited End Time for Time ID - "; I don't have Project Management addon activated. Anyone can provide information or screenshot to figure out what is the correct meaning of this strings ? Thank you in advance.
  3. Hi Guys. Just want to know if there's a way to hide the tasks in Project Management addon for users or members that aren't assigned to it? I see there's an option to hide a certain project but if a user has been assigned to a certain task within that project, and they click on the Project Name, they are able to view all the tasks for that project. Please help.
  4. Is there a way to use the Project management add-on within the awhmcs app? Would like to use the time tracking function while onsite with the client.
  5. I updated the PM module last week to find that several items weren't working (already emailed support) and that several features were now gone! Two things that changed that now take much longer on the new system, but could be easily fixed are: 1) Time Tracking: The new process for starting a timer takes many more clicks and in some cases can leave you with "unassigned" time that will be lost if you don't remember to go back and assign it immediately after you stop your timer. Old Process: Look over list of tasks on Project, click the timer icon to start. Click "Stop Timer" to stop. New Process: Option 1 - Click the start timer button at the top-right of the project. When you're done, click stop. You now have "unassigned time" so go to the Time Tracking tab, find the unassigned time, click edit, change the task, save. This takes MUCH longer and leaves you at risk of forgetting to assign your time and not knowing where it goes. Option 2 - To to the Time Tracking Tab, Click on button to Add Time. Module pops up, choose task from drop down menu, choose due date (date picker doesn't actually work), add time. Stop timer. Again, much longer. New unnecessary steps: going to a new tab, filling out a form to start your time. It was sooooooooo much faster before. Please put the start/stop timers back where they were. You can leave your new fancy options but just add the old options back. 2) Bill for Task Time Entries: This has been replaced with the Invoice tab. When you click to invoice items from the Project you now have to individually check the boxes for each task you want to invoice. The old button automatically listed them all and if there were a few you wanted to remove you hit the delete button. With the new version you have to go through and check the box for each one you want to invoice. Now picture that you're invoicing 50 or 60 clients and there are 30+ boxes to check on each one. This is WAY slower than the old way. A simple "select all" option at the top would fix this. Thanks!
  6. Maybe your not a fan of the WHMCS Project Management Addon... if so, what is your favorite? Do you just stick with Trello, Basecamp or something similar? Is there another addon for WHMCS that you would recommend?
  7. This is with WHMCS Version: 6.2.0 Steps to reproduce: 1) Ensure the Project Management Addon is enabled 2) View any ticket (might need to be open) and look for the "Create New Project" link in the upper right side, just underneath the Last Reply section. Don't click it. 3) Ensure your browser window is about 1300-1400px width or smaller. 4) Hover your cursor over one of the right-most menus (the 'Setup' menu is preferred) 5) If the menu that appears is *not* already occupying the same space as the "Create New Project" link, move your cursor down so that it's hovering over one of the submenu options like Products/Services or Support 6) Note that any location where the menu should be overlapping the "Create New Project" link, it is not. Expected behaviour: I expected the menu to overlap the Create New Project link and behave normally Actual behaviour: a) The Create New Project link overlaps the menu which is visually problematic, and b) When your cursor reaches the Create New Project link, the menus disappear, making working with the menu problematic until you resize your browser window. Some simple CSS adjustments should fix this. Simply removing the value 'z-index: 9999;' from ".create-new-project-link{}" solves this problem... I'm not really sure why it needed a z-index value in the first place.
  8. Hi i need an addon to manage projects between clients and my employees. It should have 3 different login areas for admin , employee and client something like freelancer sites do but I don't want the direct contact between employee and client is there something like this available? thanks guys
  9. Hi everyone. Apologies if this is not the correct area to make this post. I recently purchased and immediately began to use the Project Management Add-On, and love it. I've certainly got my monies worth. There is one feature I have not been able to figure out yet, and that is how the client can view projects. Within Project Management > Settings > Client Area, I have "ticked" the Enable Client Area Project Access. When I view a project associated to a specific ticket through the Log In As Client feature elsewhere in WHMCS, I only see active tickets. Is there a change somewhere else that I need to make to allow clients to view active projects and/or tasks? Thanks, Buck
  10. Hey gang, just wanted to pass this code along that we scrounged up to show active WHMCS projects on the client area home page. Insert this code wherever you want it to show in the clientareahome.php file in the template directory your using. P.S. Don't have time to support this so, use as you want and customize to your liking <!-- show projects --> {php} $userid = $this->_tpl_vars['clientsdetails']['id']; $result = mysql_query("SELECT *, mod_project.id as projectid FROM mod_project WHERE userid =$userid"); $projects = array(); while ($data = mysql_fetch_array($result)) { array_push($projects, $data); } $this->_tpl_vars['projects'] = $projects; {/php} <div class="table_title"> <h3>Active Projects</h3><strong style="color: red;">View project details</strong> </div> <table class="table table-striped table-framed table-centered no-more-tables"> <thead> <tr> <th>{$LANG.projecttitle}</th> <th>{$LANG.projectcreated}</th> <th>{$LANG.projectdue}</th> <th>{$LANG.projectstatus}</th> <th>{$LANG.projectmodified}</th> <th> </th> </tr> </thead> <tbody> {foreach from=$projects item=project} <tr> <td>{$project.title}</td> <td>{$project.created|date_format:"%m/%d/%Y"}</td> <td>{$project.duedate|date_format:"%m/%d/%Y"}</td> <td>{$project.status}</td> <td>{$project.lastmodified|date_format:"%m/%d/%Y"}</td> <td class="textcenter"> <form method="post" action="index.php?m=project_management&a=view&id={$project.projectid}"> <input type="submit" value="{$LANG.clientareaviewdetails}" class="btn info" /> </form> </td> </tr>{foreachelse} <tr> <td colspan="6" class="textcenter">{$LANG.norecordsfound}</td> </tr> {/foreach} </tbody> </table> <!-- end show projects -->
  11. Hi all, has anyone else had issues with their Project Management Addon after upgrading to 5.0.7 - I have run the proper upgrade procedure to fix the missing client area after 5.0.6 to 5.0.7 initial broke - but now 5.0.7 has another issue with the Project Management Addon. Basically clients login into the client area but cannot login to the project management area of the client area? Also as an admin I cannot load task templates and save task templates in the backend. Any a fix for this as its really killing me today. I think I learned a lesson this past week not to reply on this fully in the future and have a proper stable alternative. Really suffering here so any help on a fix for this would be super. Sent in a ticket but to be honest I cannot really hold my breath for 4 or 5 days like the last fix. Thanks, James
