Just a question... But are you authorised to sell google apps when as far as I know they are owned and belong to Google? Also I swear google apps are free? Other than that it looks good. Well done.

Anyone recommend decent UK dedicated servers...
AndrewMKP replied to isdoo's topic in General Discussion
what was the program you used? And yeah, name them and shame them here with screenshots if you can. Any host that lies should be taken through formal and legal routes. Write to them, you could ask for all your money back for the months you have hosted with them due to them lieing to you. -
We will have seperate reseller plans rather than giving them 'discounts'. We will set up a larger package for the reseller with WHM access, we bill them for that space as a whole. If you wish to bill them per customer then you should be refering to the affiliate scheme.

transferring an expired domain from another directi account
AndrewMKP replied to freedombi's topic in General Discussion
If hosts are being awkward and the domain is infact still under the customers name then talk to your Directi rep and raise a ticket with them. I am sure if they email him warning him that he will be a lot more cooperative -

AndrewMKP replied to rmccny's topic in Commercial Modules and Addons
Question to rmccny. How easy is this to customise like the rest of WHMCS? Do you have any guides etc? Also whats different about the corporate version to free version that you mention? Cheers. Andrew -
Excellent Mike. Looks good. GWHosting, any luck?

Order shows pending after paypal payment
AndrewMKP replied to weblandhosting@comcast.ne's topic in General Discussion
How often are your CronJobs ran? If they are set to only once every 24 hours you may have to wait for them to run to create the accounts in WHM etc? Regards, Andrew. -
I would help you if I knew, try looking through the demo board, you may find some answers in that if no one knows the answer, if all else fails submit a ticket. Regards, Andrew

Order shows pending after paypal payment
AndrewMKP replied to weblandhosting@comcast.ne's topic in General Discussion
You may need to check your confiiguration in the Admin area to ensure it is set up instantly after payment. Untill that time go to pending orders, once they have paid just click accept/create or whatever the button is -
Probably in the Admin area, I am just making a guess here but by the sounds of it you either remove the visible links in the theme, lock general users out of those areas so they do not have permision to access it or disable the functions in Cast Control panel. Either one of them should give you a resolution.

Well I would be willing to pay someone for this sort of thing as a per user backup would be very good, if anyone is interested please PM me to keep this thread on track. i have absolutely no idea Conor. The servers are running Linux Centos, cPanel & WHM etc but not sure if its possible to do it in WHMCS. it must be because it calls on other commands to do similar things? Anyone have and ideas on this one or should I sumbit a support ticket? Kind Regards, Andrew.

Yeah of course but all in good time Cheers Rob

Hello, I am interested to know if it is possible to add a Automated backup option should a user pick it as a addon product and pay for it? Is this possible? If so how exactly? Regards, Andrew

Yeah, I worked it out a slightly different way though. I did: Resource Cost / Available space (to get the value of 1) then times by customer package. Basically say my server costs £100 with 500GB HDD space and I charge my client £2 for a package. Thus the formula would be: £100 / 500 = £0.20 per GB Clients Package has 2GB so its £0.20 x 2 = £0.40 for that package. Then £2.00 - £0.40 = £1.60 Which is a 80% profit margin. That is if you are doing it on HDD space. It works for me anyway, how about you?

Just a quick one but can you not make a 'addon' for the free hosting? Make the 12 months free hosting applicable to domain registration? The only thing is users would have to tick the box. I have not done this myself but just looking at it you should be able to?

Pending Orders - Appearing for existing customers
AndrewMKP replied to jdwalte3's topic in General Discussion
It could be a Cronjob or curl error not putting them through as confirmed on the server? This could be a possibility if you have changed server recently? -
Anyone know a formula to work out a per customer profit? And also percentage? Cheers Andrew.
