[NOT A BUG] Default Template file - Additional options
AndrewMKP replied to AndrewMKP's topic in Troubleshooting Issues
Hi, Which template would I need to edit in order to space these out or format them? -
Hi, Please see attached a example of additional options fields against a product in cart.php. If you add more than 1 additional option it isn't formatted correctly within the CSS. They seem to merge together instead of being formatted left, top with a line seperation. This is a default and unamended template, if you need any more info please advise. Please can you advise of a fix in the mean time? Cheers, Andy. p.s - sorry for uploading such a small image but the forums restrictions are very strict!

Hi, I had this problem. I think it had something to do with my contact number having letters and symbols in 'N/A'. I also changed the contact name as it reflected the same two words as my company name. I then proceeded to register it and it worked. Cheers, Edit: Sorry, didn't see the dates before I replied. Please remove if required - didn't mean to bump and old thread!

Domains not getting registered automatically..!!
AndrewMKP replied to K Ashok's topic in General Discussion
Have you contacted ENOM support to get your account with them on the approved list? http://wiki.whmcs.com/Enom#IP_Registration_.28Registrar_Error_Invalid_Client_IP.29 You have to open a ticket with their API department, if its not that then check your not set in Test Mode within WHMCS and your login details are correct. After that its back to WHMCS support -

What countries is this available in? UK or just the US? -
yes but it's not possible to update paypal subscriptions automatically. The client will need to manually change that themselves I believe.

We had this installed from when it first appeared and I have been following this thread closely, looks very good and i have installed it, no issues as of yet. Yet again sparky, another string to your bow old friend
-
Oh look at that, its like I never posted that bit Would you discriminate and look down on people if they were then? If not, don't bring it up because I am clearly not blind. Believe my I can see your arogance and abrubtness as clear the blue sky my friend  Actually, if you could paint it, attach it to the thread, you never know, I mean after all I am not blind so would be able to see your master piece. Maybe if you took the time to read my first post and stoped making pathetic comments you would realise that NOTHING will work inside WHMCS, nor in any other billing software. If payments worked inside whmcs then there would be no need for payment gateways. Just to ensure there are no smarmy or arogant responses to my or any other members posts that are of good faith let me explain what you want, you want a payment gateway where users can pay, but not leave your site, to answer your wants and hopefully stop you throwing your rattle out of your pram as I said in my first post, PayPal Payments Pro is the only one I would advise using, paypal pro lets your clients fill out everything on your website without being redirected. Another option is Offline credit card proccessing which you would need to sort with your bank, another is Mail in Payments, these are some ones that don't require your users to leave your site. I have not had any experience with other gateways but would suggest you do some research into what gateways offer what. Once again, glad you appreciated our support and help here , goodluck. I think this users post has been answered, /thread?

I am not totally experienced with PHP but could you use a simple {IF} statement to display the contents? Something along the lines of {IF} the account has 1 + then display freestuff.php file ELSE "Sorry you have not got any accounts with us"? Its a pretty lemans type description but the logic is correct
-
Glad you have found the list and that your not blind but maybe you are just a little lazy and harsh towards our friend Shaun here. If you do some research into the gateways, for example a good start would be www.google.com. Then google the payment gateways and see what they offer, for example paypal are listed as a gateway, but AT paypal you can signup for different accounts and types. So may I suggest stop being blunt and bone idle and do some research, your attitude towards members is not appreciated. www.paypal.com Look into merchant accounts, paypal pro is a good option however a monthly expendature. Hope this helps you on your little venture

Offline Credit Card Payments
AndrewMKP replied to BullsoftHosting - Tom's topic in General Discussion
The paypal pro option with paypal allows you to do it all on site but thats a monthly expendature. We use the standard business paypal no problems. You can find more information about paypal at http://www.paypal.com -
We use MSN Plus, its very good, integrates well and is actually designed to run with the software. Much better than any other that I have tried, the multiple account function is absolutely excellent. You launch MSN IM, sign into a account, then go to your start bar, launch it again and instead of re-opening the current window it essentially adds a seperate MSN application, just two MSNs running at the same time. No conflict, no hassle, no problem.

Cacti Integration for WHMCS
AndrewMKP replied to justinsigner's topic in Commercial Modules and Addons
So purchase it at 750 Euros? Woa woa woa, you just said his price was reasonable? Now your saying your only going to spend $150? Yeah, valid point, but a business that does not listen to its customers or take constructive criticism will fail. We are just showing our points on the price, we are still interested in buying or are you blind? We are all reading and posting because we are interested in this product, we just believe that 750 is too high for a addon when nothing is guaranteed. This is our feedback to the OP, not slating him for his work/time, just showing that compared to other coders and addons maybe this guy should revise his pricing. So before you go around making assumptions that we are all horrible people who are not reasonable, maybe you should re-think, we are contributing our thoughts and feedback to the OP, it just so happens that the feedback on this product so far is the price. -
Ok, This one should end the thread. You tell us what you want to do so badly with the WHMCS system and we will tell you straight up if you need to edit the core files or a work around. If you guys are so intent on having it unencoded then TELL US EXACTLY what you want to do with it. Prove to us, because so far you have just said its an inconvenience, but tell us, WHAT you want to do to the system. Justify your points. When you finally come to realise you can't, then we can close the thread

Cacti Integration for WHMCS
AndrewMKP replied to justinsigner's topic in Commercial Modules and Addons
The question is would you buy it if it had possible legal implications? -
I think WHMCS team should reference this thread before you deal with this chap and read this to the end. http://www.webhostingtalk.com/showthread.php?t=754618 N1ck3rson: To answer your question, no you cannot manually edit the server status page to display a false uptime. The uptime percent is displayed on the basis of how long your server is down/up etc.

Well no offence but if it is executing but timing out and hanging as you decribed something is obviously killing/blocking the process from finishing. The logical conclusion would be your firewall/process monitoring software. We use CSF and it is used as a firewall but it also monitors process' and kills them should they become executable and run suspicious commands that are not recognised. Maybe try disabling your firewall/monitoring software completely and see if it that solves your issue. Unless you have any other ideas? If its not then it's likely to be something either related to to your WHMCS .php files, so maybe re-upload all the latest .php files, clear the templates_c (cache) folder and also try running an update of whm/cpanel. Anyone else have any ideas? Regards Andrew

Cacti Integration for WHMCS
AndrewMKP replied to justinsigner's topic in Commercial Modules and Addons
Well if your not willing to sell @ 100 Euros then I think maybe this should be left open for another developer to see if they wish to do a similar sort of module. Personally as its only a Addon to WHMCS I would only pay a max of around 70 Euros. Reason being as Victor said, most is open source anyway and I'm not sure this guy is actually allowed to encode it as its classed as freeware, its illegal to sell 'free' source codes on FYI. I wouldn't pay anymore because purely and simpley its a Addon, if it was software that was seperate and worked alongside WHMCS but didn't relly on it then I would be more than willing to pay around 150 - 200 Euros. Its a nice mod Justinsigner and all credit to you for your effort and ideas but unfortunately we will be backing away from this deal to avoid legal problems that may arise from a worldwide ammount of sources, I don't think I need the hassle of people chasing me up telling me software i have purchased needs to be destroyed as it was released as 'free code'. I think if you purchase this and it is using Open Source coding then you are a fool to your own demise unfortunately. Goodluck to the OP and also all those involved, just thought I would point out some possible problems you may come accross in the future. Regards Andrew. -
I also learned today you need port 2087 in inbound and outbound as well. Sounds like a firewall issue Valorin?

and you have updated all your .php files yeah? Gone through your settings about the SEO knowledgebase links? You must have affected something recently. I suspect its a .php file you need to upload.

Upgrading to 3.8.1 Fatal error: Smarty error:
AndrewMKP replied to davegeoghegan's topic in Using WHMCS
Place folders called templates_c in a variety of directories and delete them one by one until you find the one thats needed? I know little about windows servers either but a simple trial and error approach should help you solve this? Create the directories in all possible directories that you believe it may be and then implement the upgrade, if its not working you have come to the conclusion its none of those directories If in doubt try bringing up a ticket, this is assuming that locating the directory is the problem at hand. -
Try deleting all the files in your Templates_C folder to clear the cache?

I got this PM from the OP: Well it may be the best addon in the world and I do respect your work and effort however maybe if you took a business approach to this instead of charging everyone a massive fee would work better for you. I think you will get maybe 1 or two customers. In my opinion and by the looks of it many others, 750 Euros will not sell, especially in this current climate. Try putting your business hat on instead of your opinion one Goodluck
