  1. does that include the specifics for a product ID?
  2. And when that happens WHMCS will lose clients. Hundreds if not thousands of them.
  3. why would you get rid of an owned license?? they can have my owned license when they can pry it from my cold dead hands.
  4. Sadly, WHMCS does not have a monthly addon price for the license fees they only have now. I could see the one off prices when they sold owned licenses, but now it's kind of redundant. Maybe WHMCS could consider changing that too. Since they changed the price.
  5. my concept is to make a hook that checks data, has an output option to a template page
  6. how do I get active hosting account using the internal API for getting the exact number of an active product. I've tried everything I can think of.
  7. There are so many features with IPB. And half the nerds here have used it for gaming anyways
  8. there was a module that worked up until 6, and don't work on 7. I've messaged the owner of the module about it, but to no avail. Prices auto calc module.
  9. if you are going to do that give them 50% off that one month. Free always invites more issues. The days of free trials are basically replaced with a 30-day money back guarantee.
  10. bulk pricing updater does not update secondary currencies in a client's product. The third party product I had expired and the owner has not updated it for whmcs 7.2. So I am looking for an alternative.
  11. does whmcs 7.2 update the clients reoccuring prices for current products, or does one have to manually update that?
  12. How I would do it is to create the hosting plan, and design plan separately. I would then use a coupon code to give them free hosting once they pay for the web design, that way you can control how long they get the free hosting account.
  13. The current promotion system is weak in that regard. What I did on my system was create an additional product. In promotions, I created a coupon code for the second product, where it required the first product. The other option would be to create a Combo plan with the discount built into the price. However, The reason I went with the method I described was to allow the client to see the discount in the cart. For some reason the configurable addon discount option does not work or at least I can not seem to get it to work to where it only discounts the configurable addon. Either I am missing something or it does not work perfectly.
  14. this tells me nothing.. lol What am I supposed to be looking for??
  15. I am having issues with my orderform on php 7.0. client goes to order and choose use their own domain, and then the software just sits there spinning it's wheels going nowhere and not moving forward in the order process anyone else having this issue? and how do I fix it?
  16. I've read your posts for over 5 years on different forums. there are times I've read you as coming off as a bit acerbic at times. Nothing personal, we're all guilty of it. One thing I always have to remind myself is when I am reading someone's posts that I am injecting my emotions into what is being written based on my experiences, then I check the stylus and phrasing of the sentence. I check my assumptions on if I am right or wrong about the tone of what is being written. So I always ask myself before I reply am I projecting my feelings into this post based on what I read. Sometimes I have time to rewrite and edit, sometimes I don't, and sometimes I just don't care.
  17. went to reissue my license as I moved servers: Action Failed: Your WHMCS license key is not enabled to use the Licensing Addon yet. Navigate to Addons > Licensing Manager to resolve.
  18. why the hell are we using fopen in 2016, and not curl??? fopen is designed for local files, not remote file access, whereas curl is for remote file access.
  19. So nice of them.. another useless module at this point.
  20. I upgraded to php 5.6 to resolve several of my issues.
