DF-Duncan
I see Enom are down again, for about 7 hours now. Their site first said 'un scheduled maintenance' now changed to 'scheduled maintenance'. I find it amazing such a large Registrar can have this level of problems in the frontend, and maybe backend, systems. Time for a move of Registrars I believe.

Did you not read the email notification of maintenance they sent to all resellers advising of the d/time on the api etc ? A number of the rules about domains have changed (as they regularly do) and all ICANN accredited registrars have or will be doing maintenance over the coming days to handle the updates, new escrow data formats etc. The enom maintenance shoudl have finished about 1.5 hours ago, but has overrun, expect it back up by 4pm GMT.

chiehkai
Didn't receive any sort of maintenance notifications form eNom either.
scurrell
Got no email, but did take note when I visited their site yesterday. They're way over their "scheduled" finish time.
Daniel
It's likely it was only sent to ETPs, though they've had a message on their website for around a week.
Lawrence
Yup, it is a planned and necessary maintenance. It hasn't been a problem for us, as Saturday's are usually pretty quiet anyways.

surfichris
Yep - and due to something that occurred along the way, all of our customer domains have been renewed, and we've been charged for it. I'm thinking it's got something to do with the WHMCS Enom Sync cron.
