DeSoto
Awesome! I would like to see an option to sort the date order on the domain expiring page. Thanks!
DeSoto
This allows you to go from the WHMCS clients domain page directly to the domain detail section of this addon. How does this work? I am on a clients domain page and I don't see anything.

n2972s
Awesome! I would like to see an option to sort the date order on the domain expiring page. Thanks! Added to list of things to do. How does this work? I am on a clients domain page and I don't see anything. The eNom menu you added modifying the menu.js file, there is a link in there to go to the domain detail page of this addon. From the clients domain page within WHMCS click that link and it will take you to detail page of the addon for that domain. Let me know if that makes sense, if not I can explain it better. Upgraded to beta 0.3 without issue. Good to hear! Gustave

netmotiv8
Ok - I have an issue with the Transfer tracking: Enom Extended is reporting that a domain is "Domain transfer initiated and awaiting approval", yet if I go directly onto Enom the status is actually "Transfer Pending - Awaiting Release by Current Registrar" I am not using the cron yet, however I use the 'Update' button but status does not change. Any ideas?
n2972s
This is a nice feature, I sent a small donation I hope it helps. It does! Thank you for the support. Enom Extended is reporting that a domain is "Domain transfer initiated and awaiting approval", yet if I go directly onto Enom the status is actually "Transfer Pending - Awaiting Release by Current Registrar" I am not using the cron yet, however I use the 'Update' button but status does not change. Any ideas? They mean the same thing, the API response, to a status code 14 in this case, is "Domain transfer initiated and awaiting approval" I did not alter the title of the code in anyway. On eNom's website, for a status code 14, is it shows "Transfer Pending - Awaiting Release by Current Registrar". I wondered the same thing when I was testing this, but it is simply a matter of how eNom shows it on their website versus what they have their API provide. You will notice a few other discrepancies like that as you see some of the other codes come through. It may be beneficial to add or at least give the option to change the title to something more descriptive as eNom does themselves. Daniel
This has saved us a huge amount of work - keeping ontop of domain transfers took forever and this works perfectly. Donation sent
redrat
Hi n2972s. Unfortunately, my upgrade has not gone so smoothly as I suspected. Remember me? I needed to give you ftp access to fix the last installation errors which you did brilliantly. This time, I have a different set of errors which you might prefer to have a look at rather than me post them here? I'd appreciate that if you have the time. Regards, Chris

scurrell
This is a fantastic tool, but do you have any plans to include other top-up methods? We always top-up our account with Paypal.

Unfortunately not with regards to Paypal. I did contact eNom on this and the only way to refill the account with Paypal is to login to the eNom website. For now the only way to refill your account outside of the eNom website is to use a CC. Gustave

Having to log in to Enom a few times a month is hardly a show-stopper.
mike25
Nice add-on testing it out now. I do not see a client update option for when an invalid EPP key is provided, is that not supported or am I missing something?

Gustave So it's Enom not being consistent in there API codes, correct? Is there anything you can do or it is worth raising with Enom? pjs32
Hi, Whats the best way to setup the transfer cron on a Windows box as we are getting a error when we try to run it in the usual way we run crons, the error is: Please access this file in the correct manner.
n2972s
Nice add-on testing it out now. I do not see a client update option for when an invalid EPP key is provided, is that not supported or am I missing something? I may be missing what you are trying to do. I have not implemented transfer orders in the release that I have out. So I am not sure what you are trying to do. When you request an EPP Key you get the generated key at eNom to the email address for the domain, I do not believe there is anyway to get an invalid key. Please correct me if I am misunderstanding what you are trying to do. I have the ability to place transfer orders on my current working copy so it will be out when I get the next set of files out. So it's Enom not being consistent in there API codes, correct? Is there anything you can do or it is worth raising with Enom? Cheers I do not think I would say that, it is just how they are chosing to show the information on their website. The best way to change it here would be to have the ability to change the title shown to you. This is on my to do list. Hi,Whats the best way to setup the transfer cron on a Windows box as we are getting a error when we try to run it in the usual way we run crons, the error is: Please access this file in the correct manner. Which set of files are you on? The most recent 0.3 there should be no way for you to recieve this error by calling /cron/transfertracking.php from cron. If you like you can send me a PM and we can work through the error that way. Regards, Gustave
mike25
I am new to the setup but I think it emails the client upon a transfer being completed or failing based on the codes and responses that are in the configuration? I had one transfer fail due to an invalid EPP key and no email got sent to the client. I checked through the config and on the response page there is not an entry for a failure due to an incorrect EPP key being supplied, So I assume this is why no action was taken. I get those failures all the time so I wanted to see if I had just missed something somewhere. These are for clients who have ordered transfers through me.
redrat
Big up to Gustave for this excellent mod and superb post installation support. For this and to encourage you to bring this forwards as new whmcs versions emerge I've sent a small donation. Keep up the good work. yamaharr1
Just a quick thought, not sure how users will feel about this but when you go into the debug info the main Enom account password is sent in plain text, Maybe this would be better if it was encrypted or not part of the debug at all.
yamaharr1
I just noticed when you go to set up the cron it repeats the path "path_to_whmcs/" once in the beginning and once at the end after the .php shouldn't it be only one path? */5 * * * * php -q /path_to_whmcs/whmcs/modules/admin/enom_extended/cron/transfertracking.php /path_to_whmcs/
n2972s
Just a quick thought, not sure how users will feel about this but when you go into the debug info the main Enom account password is sent in plain text, Maybe this would be better if it was encrypted or not part of the debug at all. The debug was in there on this series because I was getting some people that were having problems with curl. With that said since I released the files I have not had or there has not been a reported case where curl has caused any issues. In the future I will send a debug file seperate only if it is needed. I just noticed when you go to set up the cron it repeats the path "path_to_whmcs/" once in the beginning and once at the end after the .php shouldn't it be only one path? */5 * * * * php -q /path_to_whmcs/whmcs/modules/admin/enom_extended/cron/transfertracking.php /path_to_whmcs/ No you need both.
