Also when trying to submit a new here none of the links are working, so it is impossible to contact WHMCS in any other way than these forums.

This actually is working after all.  My desktop browser (Chrome / Win11) just doesn't scroll to the new content added to the page when a link is clicked.

WHMCS maintains two versions to be frank

WHMCS 9.X  = latest version

WHMCS 8.X = older version with LTS support for people who need time to upgrade

On the very same page, if you click "Download Button" you will see both the versions.  (Check the attachments)

Yes, I am well aware that the Download option displays both.

But how can both v9.x and an LTS v8..x be recommended for all new installations and upgrades

It's nonsensical and confusing to publish information this way.  The latest version is 9.x, and 8.13.2 is a maintenance release for v8.x , the blog post is clear about that but the client area home page does not.

Please see my second screenshot on my previous reply you will find that WHMCS is recommending only 9.X version.
