Hide custom fields according location

Hello

We offer services to Argentina, Uruguay, Chile and Bolivia.
To customers located in Argentina, when registering and checkout, we request some data through custom fields, like data of billing address and other data that is not required for customers in Chile and Bolivia.
Exists any hook or php code to make these features available?

Did not see one in quick search but could be buried somewhere.  Using a output hook such as ClientAreaHeadOutput and checking the clientdetails country variable and then return javascript to hide those fields should do the trick.
