CORE-14518 Admin>clients>Advanced Search not working properly?

Hello there

I think options Advanced search on clients do not working properly.

Steps reproduced:

Now I have previous created client custom field on Setup>Custom Client fields with drop down options to choose.

And now will search on clients for all match results.

And results will display all clients on my database, even if it is just one client match results religion Catolic.

Is it a bug? 🤔

After some excavation, it looks that Advanced Search will not work for none of custom field we created. But it would be more useful if we could made advanced search for custom field added, because if we added then,  means it is important. Why have a database if I can not make analyses according to specific needs 🤐

if this is a specific v7.10 issue, you should probably have posted in the v7.10 forums to ensure the appropriate staff see it - they're more likely to read threads there than elsewhere.

I've been able to replicate this issue on my end as well, and as such have opened case #CORE-14518 with our developers in order to have this reviewed for future releases. Once we resolve cases and push features they are available at our change log, here:
