SteelSignature
When a user tries to place an order with Stripe, a nondescript error appears... "Login session not found" If an existing user (not logged in) tries to use the "Already Registered?" button or a new user tries to register, the error appears during checkout. If a user is logged in, the order will process without an issue. Orders can no longer be placed since upgrading to 7.8. The gateway wasn't changed, and I can't find any information regarding this error. Please help!
SteelSignature
Was able to troubleshoot the error. Any orders placed with total value of 0 give this error. That means trials and free items cannot be ordered with Stripe currently. This behavior was recently changed during the update. I believe WHMCS changed the way CC information was stored and Stripe won't generate a token until a transaction occurs. Any hotfixes would be appreciated. WHMCS Product Manager WHMCS John Posted September 4, 2019 WHMCS Product Manager Share Posted September 4, 2019 Hi @SteelSignature, Thanks for your report, I've been able to replicate this issue on my end as well. As such I've opened case #MODULE-7107 with our developers in order to have this corrected in the next update. Once we resolve cases and push features they are available at our change log, here: https://changelog.whmcs.com/ I apologize for the inconvenience, thanks again for taking the time to report your findings.
