DennisHermannsen
Hi. After updating on the 22nd of January to WHMCS 7.7, we started experiencing a really weird issue. A couple of clients only paid for small part of their total due, but the amount paid was matching other client's unpaid invoices. After investigating we found out that a bunch of our clients' subscriptions suddenly started paying for the wrong invoices in WHMCS. According to my research, this started happening when the cron job ran after upgrading. We've had to cancel all PayPal subscriptions, send out emails manually to hundreds of client explaining why. Some of the PayPal subscriptions are really old, but I'm wondering how this could happen?

I think it's a known bug with WHMCS v7.7... 🙄 On 24/01/2019 at 21:26, WHMCS John said: We've opened case MODULE-6962 to investigate this behaviour. It seems to impact products/services with an empty/invalid Subscription ID value. In the meantime, please review products/services to ensure the Subscription ID value is filled in. therefore you might need to run the Services report to generate a list of services with no Paypal Subscription IDs... ultimately, we will have to wait until WHMCS release a hotfix for this issue.
