Is email disk usage included in Disk Usage summary?

Recommended Posts

It appears that my client’s email disk usage is not being reflected when i run the Disk Space and Bandwidth Summary report (yes, even when clicking “update now’) and so presumably it is possible for them to greatly exceed the disk space limits we’ve set for them.

Is this how it’s supposed to work or is something borked/misconfigued ?

Hi,

Disk space calculations and limitations are enforced by your control panel software. WHMCS will reports it to the client and bills them for overage (if configured).

In order to see the commands being sent/received between WHMCS and the module usage update, the Utilities > Logs > Module debug Log tool can be used
Please enable it, reproduce the problem, disable it again and then copy the data here for us to review.

More detailed instructions are published at http://docs.whmcs.com/Troubleshooting_Module_Problems

Hey @iHelpersLLC,

My understanding is that this should include the email disk usage https://documentation.cpanel.net/display/ALD/Disk+Usage might be worth opening a ticket with cPanel Support to confirm that is the case.

Thanks, however i dont see anything on that page/document about email usage being included, unless i’m missing it?

  • Files that your home directory does not contain (see the Other Usage bar).

Emails are counted on other cP should be able to confirm thou.
