Lucas
Any plans on implementing and extension or core feature to allow purchasing cPanel Store SSLs directly from WHMCS or do we have to use the cPanel system due to the commission?
twhiting9275
hmm, is there an API for the cpanel market ssl side of things?
Lucas
To be honest I have not even checked, I was hoping that since cPanel has shares in WHMCS they would at least try to keep everything in the same area for billing clients. It does make sense to go through them if they want to guarantee the payment and handle it all by themselves. Otherwise an extension would be much better than have clients register via cPanel and pay for the SSL certificates. Seems unintuitive and confusing, specially when we offer these services to users who normally don't even understand what cPanel is.

twhiting9275
or, for free (if you choose that route) from cPanel
Lucas
My thread is not about opinions whether you like it or not. It is about whether the WHMCS has plans or not of developing this feature, or if it is already done. Thanks!

Yes but why develop this when it only gives limited SSLs at high prices when you can goto the SSL Store or Go Get SSL which both have working WHMCS modules and offers a far wider range of SSL certs
AffordableDomainsCanada
So why sell to your clients a cPanel DV SSL Certificate (a Comodo Positive SSL) for $15 when you can get a Comodo Positive SSL for about $5 from a lot of providers the cheapest your going to get from The SSL Store is $6.00 for 1 year.
easyhosting
the cheapest your going to get from The SSL Store is $6.00 for 1 year. But look at their range compared to what cpanel offer Edited April 13, 2017 by WHMCS ChrisD
WHMCS Support Manager WHMCS John Posted April 13, 2017 WHMCS Support Manager Share Posted April 13, 2017 Hi, I am not aware of any immediate plans at this time to implement a cPanel Market SSL module for WHMCS. However in v7.2 the MarketConnect feature automates the sale, configuration and installation of SSL certificates on cPanel servers: https://blog.whmcs.com/?t=127266 https://blog.whmcs.com/?t=127662

That uses RapidSSL, GeoTrust and Symantec providers. Are you planning on extending this feature to Comodo and cPanel SSLs in the future?
WHMCS Technical Analyst WHMCS Edward Posted May 15, 2017 WHMCS Technical Analyst Share Posted May 15, 2017 As far as I'm aware, at this time there are no immediate plans to add other SSL providers to MarketConnect - Symantec offers a range of SSL certificates from basic DV to fully validated EV. -Ed
