ndshgyta
Hello, i updated from 6.2 to 6.3 and i dont receive email notification on NEW tickets. I checked everything: Ensure the Support Ticket Notification email template is not disabled under Setup > Email Templates Ensure the Email Notification option is enabled under Setup > Staff Management > Admin Users > Edit. Make sure the administrator role is set to receive support emails under Setup > Staff Management > Admin Roles > Edit. Also i receive other emails when a new order is placed, but not receive email on new ticket. Also there is no error in activity log. Where is the problem?
ITWolfy
Hi, I had the same problem and solved it by creating a new admin login then I got my tickets again. I could not solve it sorry or find the reason why it is doing this, my post was removed from the bug list so must be something local making this happen.

WHMCS Support Manager WHMCS John Posted April 22, 2016 WHMCS Support Manager Share Posted April 22, 2016 Hi, These forums are for user-to-user support. If you'd like a guaranteed response from WHMCS staff, please submit a support ticket and we'll be pleased to help. Regarding the matter at hand, this is peculiar behaviour indeed and not how I would expect a stock WHMCS installation to behave. Could you please ensure there are no customisations present on your installation as these can often change the way WHMCS operates. These are typically located in the /includes/hooks and /modules/ directories. Once the issue is resolved you can add them back one-by-one until the problem begins again - at which point you have identified the troublesome customisation and can contact the vendor directly for assistance resolving the problem in their code.

Yes, there are no customisations present on our installation. You can check with fresh installation. Admin does not receive email notification on new tickets when is loged to admin area!

WHMCS Support Manager WHMCS John Posted April 26, 2016 WHMCS Support Manager Share Posted April 26, 2016 Hi, You would not receive notification emails for your own modifications to tickets at any time (as that's redundant) but you would still receive notifications made by other staff whilst you're logged into the WHMCS admin area.
ndshgyta
Hello, I am not talking about that admin does not receive notification emails for your own modifications! I am talking about that admin does not receive notification emails when new tickets are opened when is logged in in WHMCS admin area. If the admin is not logged in in the WHMCS admin area then he receives notification emails when new tickets are opened.
Manchester Web Hosting
Having the EXACT same problem as above. IF you are logged into admin and someone opens a new ticket then you dont get the notification. HOWEVER this was logged into admin AND the client at the same time (for testing) in the SAME browser (firefox) then opening a new ticket. NO admin notification was recived. I then tried openeing another ticket via a different browser (chrome) whilst still logged into admin on the other broswer (firefox) and then I did recive the admin notification. This isnt the case for the versions before 6.3 so very hesitant to upgrade! Although its 'buggy' im assuming that you will still recieve admin notifications for new tickets etc if you are logged into admin SO LONG AS your not testing as i am, as the client wouldnt be sending from the same browser and session that you are as example above. Hope that makes sense. Still testing though. P.S as with everyone else. the whmcs branding on the admin emails is horrific. You have already converted me into a paying cstomer so why the branding? oh maybe you want the support or sales staff that work for me to setup there own business and undercut me??? nad have an impact on my business?!
