Registered domains appear as available

Hi,

I have a big problem with the domain register. It shows many registered domains as available (.com, .net... no matter the tld). I tried dozens and appears to be random.

I checked the whoisservers.php and all is updated. Also, i see the register whmcs log and no error found.

I also have the 43 port open on CSF, on ip v4 and ip v6.

Thanks you,

Hi,

What result do you receive when looking up the domains via the Utilities > Whois Lookup on the admin side please?

Have the same problem, works randomly. It gives answer without error, but many registered domains like Twitter for example says that are available.

King regards,

Hi,

This problem continues, but i want to share this info:

I have checked one of the domains most knowed in Spain, the sports newspaper Marca, marca.com and marca.es (Is in the top five domains here).

# whois -h whois.crsnic.net "marca.es"

[Querying whois.crsnic.net]

[Redirected to whois.dynadot.com]

[Querying whois.dynadot.com]

[whois.dynadot.com]

No match for domain 'marca.es'.

Is there any alternative to crsnic? It's not working fine at all... for example, can we check the domains against ResellerClub?

I think whois.crsnic.net is really only used for .com and .net lookups - bizarrely, it does seem to work for .es, but I don't know how reliable it would be... e.g the WHMCS demo is showing both marca.com and marca.es as registered.

if you are in Spain, it might be worth checking the thread below...

the correct whois server for .es is whois.nic.es - but you need to apply to be able to use it... if they accept your application, you can then modify your whoisservers.php file to directly access their whois servers - and then your .es lookups should be correct.
