[not a bug] MariaDB is not detected at Install

I use MariaDB on my Server.

 

root@web201:~# mysql -V
mysql  Ver 15.1 Distrib 10.0.20-MariaDB, for debian-linux-gnu (x86_64) using readline 5.2

 

At Installation, MariaDB is not detected.

 

 

Installation works. IT's only a cosmetic Bug

Hello,

 

Thanks for the report, we have already had a discussion about this. The reason your server version is not detected is not because its MariaDB, but because you have not entered any database connection details when this screen is shown during the installer. Because we don't know how to connect to the mysql server, we can't check that the version is compatible with our needs. We decided to continue to show the requirement, even though we can't check during that stage of the installation so that end users can be aware of the minimum requirements of the product.
