ID Protection field has conflicting values

I am trying to pull some reports, and found that in this field:

 

tbldomains.idprotection

 

there were 3 types of entries, one was just a blank field and the others:

 

on

1

 

What should it actually be? Does WHMCS read 'on' and '1' as the same value for this field? And if so, do the empty fields need to be changed to '0' or 'off'?

you certainly won't need to change the empty fields to '0' or 'off' - best to leave them alone!

 

I know what if you activate idprotection from the admin side on a domain, it changes the db setting to on... if it's blank, then it's off.

 

I don't have any '1' entries in that field - perhaps it's set to 1 when a client adds/buys it via the client area?

That's a good thought, thanks for telling me what yours defaults to, it's really odd to me.
