[not a bug] API calls classed as a login?

Hello,

 

Each External API calls seem to be logged in the Admin Activity log now. We have external systems that make several API calls. Each call is being logged in the Admin Activity Log.

 

As there is no way to clear this log (safely) the database is filling up rather rapidly.

 

Can you confirm how to disable this, or is it a bug?

I can confirm the recording of successful API authentication attempts to the admin log was an intentional change in 5.3.9 but I do appreciate how this might result in the admin log table filling up more quickly. We can possibly look at adding a toggle setting for this - will bring it up with the team.
