Recent client activity - ip address blank ??

Hi

 

since the latest upgrade to 5.3.8

I noticed in my admin cp both Recent client activity and recent admin activity

the ip address column is blank and not recording an ip address.

 

any fix for this issue

This is being caused by EOL versions of PHP and the change in how filter_flag_ipv6 changed in versions newer than PHP 5.3.6. Updating PHP would resolve this.

so the advice is to upgrade PHP to a 5.3 version later than v5.3.6 - note i'm talking about updating your PHP version on the server not WHMCS! :)

 

I can personally confirm that i'm not seeing this issue with PHP v5.3.28

running php 5.3.3 but I don't intend to upgrade php any further at this present time to fix an issue I did not have with the last version of WHMCS.

This is still an issue and not resolved

Gazza,

 

Please get in touch with our support team. They may be able to offer a different solution to this problem. That being said, php 5.3.3 is vulnerable to a number of security issues and running an old version of php is not recommended.
