We're updating this thread with a response to the most common question asked by WHMCS users.

 

Is CloudAstrix SPE another stand-alone software/program?

CloudAstrix SPE is a GUI for a developed FreeSwitch Platform VoIP SoftSwitch integrated within WHMCS and making use of all functions within WHMCS. There is no other GUI. It's a product developed specifically to work within WHMCS. If you do not have WHMCS, you will need to purchase the software first to use CloudAstrix SPE.

 

Does CloudAstrix SPE require another server?

Yes, the VoIP Switch cannot be loaded in your web hosting environment. It is a stand-alone engine which is needed to process VoIP calls. You can deploy your own CentOS based server, or we can assist with a Rackspace Hosted Switch at a low monthly cost.

 

What else do I need to sell VoIP?

The functions within the SoftSwitch is of Class 5 Standard. It has built in billing, provisioning within WHMCS, and the Client Area uses the WHMCS Clients Area and template. Except for your WHMCS Module, Clients VoIp Devices and the Stand-alone Freeswitch server, you do not need anything else.

 

I'm an ISP, but I don't know much about VoIP, will you teach me how it works?

CloudAstrix will assist wherever possible, but if you'd like to extend your ISP services to include VoIP ( very common among modern ISPs ), I suggest you enrol on an introductory course or research online explaining the technology. You do not need to know the in-depth technical part of VoIP or the VoIP SoftSwitch. Our Customer Care team is available to assist you whenever you require assistance. CloudAstrix Support SLA serves as your VoIP technical resource.

 

I've never sold VoIP before, and need more than 30days trial period to deploy and learn

The most frequent request. We've added a FREE 2 client and unlimited devices licence, which can also be used on one of our hosted switches. This will allow you adequate time to learn the product and service as well as test a couple of clients on it.
