5.3.7 Issue with Proforma Invoicing/Sequential Paid Invoice Numbering

Recommended Posts

For anyone having problem with EU VAT Addon and Proforma Invoicing/Sequential Paid Invoice Numbering after upgrading to 5.3.7:

We noticed a bug with converting proforma invoices to original invoices after applying a payment. Proforma invoices were not converted to new format.

As a quick solution simply restore EU VAT Addon files from v5.3.6 and copy/replace:

/modules/addons/eu_vat/eu_vat.php

/modules/addons/eu_vat/hooks.php

Hopefully WHMCS will come with a quick fix

To be clear: are you saying 5.3.7 does break sequential invoices and it's not getting fixed right away?

The taxman would simply close me down if sequential invoicing stops working. The fines are tremendous. I am in Spain but this applies to all the Euro zone.

Hello imaticon,

I know that ticket support in the past hasn't always been up to the high standards we would want it to be, but I can assure you if you put in a ticket it will be answered in a timely manner. If you can provide me with the ticket ID, I will be glad to personally follow the status of the ticket and update this thread accordingly as well.

--Thanks

Hello imaticon,

My apologies for any confusion. It seemed as though you were being sarcastic and I just was trying to imply that support has improved greatly and if anyone wants to put in a ticket they should.

On that note, ochiosu if you do place a ticket regarding this issue please let me know the ticket ID and I will personally follow up on it.

--Thanks

Ryan,

I assure you it was not my intention but yes, the smiley I used seems to indicate a little bit sarcasm. Please accept my apologies.

As an additional note, I never had any complaint against the support tickets. All my tickets always have been responded in an acceptable time.

Regards,

Marco
