State/Region inconsistent

After the last upgrade to 5.3.6 some customers don't have properly setup State/Region and they have to manually setup again.

 

WHMCS support are telling me that this is because they previously edit the State/Region manually, but never it was possible as I don't let them modify the billing info without sending a ticket.

 

Anyone have this same problem?

Hello,

 

We did include an update and extension of the State/Region definitions. Before that was extended if your customers were from a country that did not have definitions, they entered the State/Region in a text box. If these countries were defined in the update, then the customer may have a mismatch.
