[resolved] Error with tickets after update to 5.3.3

I'm having the same issue and i submitted a ticket early this morning and still haven't had any reply to resolve it.

Hi,

 

I can confirm that even with the most recent version of ionCube 4.5.3, the problem is still there with the encoded file of Exception.php.

 

The only way to solve the problem now is to replace the file with unencoded one.

To those who have this error, have you seen that they have changed/moved the classes to a new folder?

 

/includes/classes/WHMCS

 

But the installer is NOT removing the files in includes/classes/...

 

Just wonder if your problem would be solved by removing the files?

 

Example:

 

old:

includes/classes/class.2fa.php

 

new:

/includes/classes/WHMCS/2FA.php

While sending a ticket (reply to, or create a new one) we get:

Fatal error: Exceptions must be valid objects derived from the Exception base class in /www/htdocs/g/username/http/clients/includes/classes/WHMCS/File/Upload.php on line 0

 

- Removing the old classes does not work.

- There are no hot fixes available.

- Re uploading the files does not work.

- Ticket is already submitted.

 

Does anyone know what to do? Our customers cannot send us tickets.

We have included the unencoded file as part of 5.3.4. So customers who upgrade should not have this issue. If you still have a working problematic environment I would like to investigate it further.
