snake
We have this showing up in the TO DO list but what do we do with it. it doesn't mention any client or product, how on earth are we supposed to work out what this is for from a service ID ?
brian!
any hints in the logs as to which client/product it refers too?
snake
any hints in the logs as to which client/product it refers too? yes I found the userID in the logs, but more to the point is why does WHMCS create such a useless and unhelpful entry in the TO DO list ?
othellotech
It creates a 'todo' as you have something to do - the upgrade that someone ordered
snake
DURRRRR!!!! no really ? now go back and read the first post which explains what the issue is. It doesn't tell what was ordered or by who.
bear
how on earth are we supposed to work out what this is for from a service ID ? Use the search at the top right. That should offer a drop down of everywhere that number exists. Look under "Products/Services" and go from there. Clunky, but workable.
snake
I did already try that, it not return any results relating to the order. But my point is, why do this in such a lazy half arsed way. How much effort would it be for WHMCS to put the actual customer/order details in the TODO rather than a useless serviceID.
othellotech
just paste the service id in the intelligent search and it will give you everything you need, including a link to the service !
