easyhosting
Have you recently changed servers? The reason i ask this is that if you have , then you may still have an active cron running on your old server.
SilverNodashi
Have you recently changed servers? The reason i ask this is that if you have , then you may still have an active cron running on your old server. No, no server changes were made at all. And it doesn't happen to every domain, just some random ones.
brian!
what does the whmcs system activity log show for the times the invoices were created?
Si
May sound like a silly question, but do the domains appear once or twice in the clients accounts? If once, when you click on View Invoices in the Domain details section of your admin area, do you see a list of invoices including the duplicates? If twice, problem solved. Delete one of the duplicate references. Edited July 23, 2013 by Si
DigitalEnigma
Hi, I've seen this happen when using the cron job to sync the renewal dates on domains. In our case an invoice would have generated already and be pending payment. The cron to sync the dates will run and happens to pickup a domain that needed to be synced and that already had an invoice pending. This resulted in another invoice getting generated on the next invoice generation run.
AssociatedVOIP
I am having this same issue. Yes, it has to do with setting the domain renewal to be due earlier than the actual due date with registrar. This is yet another bug that the WHMCS team has failed to fix... or if they have fixed it, they are for some reason refusing to provide the incremental update.
And then there was one les
This is yet another bug that the WHMCS team has failed to fix... or if they have fixed it, they are for some reason refusing to provide the incremental update. This sort of statement is not really called for, you state you are affected by this and that was sufficient information to show the development team that this is a repeated occurance and not just a one off. RE: the second part:: there is no reason to withhold an update, unless for some reason the update needs to be a part of something else that is not yet done. In that case the fix is just not ready and we will get it when it is.
WHMCS Chris
I am having this same issue.Yes, it has to do with setting the domain renewal to be due earlier than the actual due date with registrar. This is yet another bug that the WHMCS team has failed to fix... or if they have fixed it, they are for some reason refusing to provide the incremental update. Howdy, WHMCS v5.2.6 was provided solely to address potential security issues we identified during internal audits. As it was a targeted security release, it provided no other bug fixes, or updates other than resolving those issues. WHMCS v5.2.7 was provided solely to address any of the regressive behavior we identified within the first 48 hours of releasing 5.2.6. Any bug reports that were outstanding PRIOR to 5.2.6's introduction are still logged, and in active development to be resolved, however 5.2.6 & 5.2.7 do not contain them. If you're having an issue, please provide your ticket number so we can investigate. There has not been sufficient information provided via the forums to allow us to investigate on our end.
