Shame it doesn't display correctly on a Samsung Galaxy Note though. Plus after you click login the screen hangs. You have to visit the full URL without the login.php to proceed. I've taken some screenshots to show you what I mean:

We update it this morning - should be working fine now.

When you say updated it Chris, where is the update? The download in my client area still shows v 2.0 with a date of the 12th April. I'm using an iphone and can't get past the login page.

Excuse me, we updated the demo this morning. I'll get the mobile version in the downloads section updated & update this post.

Or, what would you suggest for those who purchased the ADDON mobile edition, the iphone app ADDON and now the standalone product 'mobile edition'. I paid for 2 mobile editions - 1 as an addon back in 2007 and now another 1 as a standalone product. The point is, where do they draw the line?

There's obviously been a lot of work put into this one (if I can get it to work)......waiting on the update to allow me to log in. (hint hint Chris) :-)

The demo is looking pretty decent, but on my Gnex it's crowded to the right vertically, and in the horizontal mode the top and bottom banners/header won't go away, so my view is about 2 lines on screen. Kinda hard to use that way. Fast and very promising, though.

Haven't spotted how to log out yet, either.

[edit]

Ok, the experience keeps changing, and sometimes I'm able to hit the right combo that lets me log off.

Trying a different browser, maybe that will help.

As this is currently a beta, an updated version will be supplied once a release candidate for the mobile edition is available. Until then, if you need assistance with this please submit a ticket ( http://whmcs.com/get-support ) attn: Chris - mobile incremental update, and we'll provide you an incremental update (one that corrected the demo).

Where do you they draw line? Umm, you purchased an add-on 6 years ago and I'm sure you've been making use of it.

A lot changes, and quickly, so I think it's fair enough that if you choose to purchase an add-on (not a requirement) that it was was your choice.

We also have these add-ons and to be honest they weren't the best but they weren't expensive either, and they are one-time purchases so I wouldn't be expecting anything from WHMCS then for them to continue to develop and release improvements.

I will say though that the mobile edition page that contains the link to the demo should state that it's the beta version appearing in the demo and what it is exactly you get for your purchase if you purchase it now.

This page http://www.whmcs.com/addons/mobile-edition/ would lead you to believe that by purchasing it you get what is appearing in the demo when in fact you get v1 and access to install the beta (that is appearing in the demo). The beta should be used in a production environment at your discretion.

I currently do not have this mobile interface, but I have been testing the demo and plan to purchase soon (may wait until stable instead of release, but soon).

I'm like everyone else, I can't see keeping the apps, just put everything from iWHMCS & aWHMCS into this mobile version and scrap everything else.

BUG Report: In the WHMCS mobile demo if you select the orders tab @ bottom of screen then the columns button does not work.

While I agree that beta's should be used in a dev installation and tested, I would run this Beta in a production environment for sure. This seems 1000x better than the old on, and even if a feature doesn't work it's not like the old version could do it anyway.

Glad to see that others see this potential as well. I will be dumping the app and buying this at first stable release. A small credit of maybe $10 would be nice. Yes, I have had some time to use the app, but it has been buggy for sure the whole time with virtually no updates.

The Only Issue I have with scrapping the Apps is that we have our admin locked down tight and its IP restricted. Without the APP I would be unable to login when not on my LAN

I wish we were able to do this, but because of locations we do not access our install from the same building and are usually on dynamic ip addresses.

That is one major benefit for the app.

It would be awesome if WHMCS could use MAC filtering so for the mobile app you could access from anywhere as long as it was the same MAC address.
