sounds
Hi, i just spent two days without sleep messing with my site, whmcs and then enom Setup a few tdls got it all going in my site kind of the way i want, Then realize the only thing free about the enom reseller is the signup. Have to have at least 100$ in my enom account before i can shift a few domains. Maybe i was being a bit stupid, Anyway, i can't offer hosting without domains really so that's a bit of a set back.

You need to have money available in you account to sell the domains when your customers order them. Why is that so far fetched?

DavidBee
You will get the $100 as credit. Also if you expect to sell domains then this will not be an issues as you will recuperate the money within a few months or so depending on how fast sales are/
WHMCS Chris
You can set WHMCS to not register domain names so you could effectively only offer Hosting until you've gained more capital to invest the initial $100 retainer with eNom.
BobC
You could also use a service like Net Earth One. They also have an account that you add money to but, in their case, there is no minimum. You can order domains and pay as you go through their billing system. Also, the more domains you order, the lower the cost per domain as you change tiers. I use them exclusively and have had little problem with them. Bottom line is, sign up is free, and there is no requirement to add funds until you order a domain and there is no minimum amount required. Their URL is http://reseller.netearthone.com/ Edited December 11, 2012 by BobC Addint link to NEO website.
othellotech
I have a free VISA card from my bank - I think it's outrageous that they still expect me to PAY for my purchases - that's not free is it !

taim
Yes. For making the domain registration process automatic for your clients, you will need to have credit in your account. Every time your client register for a domain, it will registered through you enom and the price will be deducted from your enom credit balance. Well, I think internet.bs is much better than enom. They have low prices and also first minimum balance should be 65$.
easyhosting
We use a domain account we got free from one of our service providers (resellerclub based). We just keep this account with $20 in, which is enough to cover at least 2 domain registrations, but we manually review each order, so nothing is registered until we approve the order, so this will also allow us to make sure we have enough funds in to cover whichever domain is ordered.
openmind
Which is fine if you handle a few domains. People seem to hate on eNom for the support/costs but to be honest I am yet to find a provider with a better level of service. It could be because we are a top level ETP but like anything in life and business, the more you put in then the more you get out...

True and natually if i started to get a load of domain registrations then i would place a larger credit into my account
sahostking
I prefer Enom over all others i've tried, they tie into almost every software I've purchased and everything just works using them
