  1. I think he meant that the wordpress bridge plugin is easier than using the whmcs integrator for joomla, not sure?
  2. I see a lot of whmcs sites with same or similar domain search boxes So obviously they are all using the same whmcs template that's my guess
  3. Just curious where could i find some nice domain search boxes? I see some of them have images floating behind them which adds a nice touch. Something like this maybe, the domain search area is very neat on the front end and when you click the domain link up top you will see the image behind the search box. Thanks
  4. Cool.. thought there would be one already, but shur.. let me know please
  5. Is there anything that would display something like "my carts" in the top of wordpress, Like a small cart block that is always int he top of the site, and shows what a user has added to cart.
  6. I think you cancle the domain once you are at the end of the checkout
  7. Not sure, it's still not my ip when i go through he checkout
  8. Hi, How could i fill that area inside the product box with my own image? I am trying to put an image behind the order now button and product text area. Could it be done so when i create a new product it will have my image as the background? Using the Web20cart Thanks
  9. Hi, I'm using whmcs for setting up stream hosting accounts and they don't always require a domain name, Rather than not use this feature, i'd like if the customer could choose if they needed a domain or not. Something like "no thanks i don't need a domain" as one of the other domain options.
  10. Hi, i just spent two days without sleep messing with my site, whmcs and then enom Setup a few tdls got it all going in my site kind of the way i want, Then realize the only thing free about the enom reseller is the signup. Have to have at least 100$ in my enom account before i can shift a few domains. Maybe i was being a bit stupid, Anyway, i can't offer hosting without domains really so that's a bit of a set back.
  11. I went through the checkout, selected a product, live shoutcast stream, then option to select a domain name Then i get option to remove the shoutcast plan or the domain i just selected so i removed the domain name from cart, But it still shows the domain in the description of the shoutcast stream, the total is right, it's just charging for the stream. Confused..
  12. Hi, I'm testing some products i set up for live shoutcast streams (whmsonic) going through the checkout process and thinking, Should i leave the domain registration enabled for these streams, not sure if people do register a domain for a live stream? What happens if they do register a domain with a live shoutcast stream? Does it auto register the domain and connect it to the live shoutcast stream or what is the process there? and what if the customer removes the domain from the checkout and just pays for the live shoutcast stream, will it auto setup their stream without a domain and just give them the regular http://ip:radioport URL? Can anyone enlighten me Thanks later
  13. Hi, I got my enom account setup now and wondered if i could have the domain registration and search enabled And possible add an extra option where a user could just click "no thanks" to not have a domain registered? I'm setting up shoutcast accounts, if i don't use the register a domain features then a new client would gate their shoutcast account with the regular ip:port url. so basically the suer could either have a domain name reged for their new stream or just go with the reguar ip:port option for free. I'm also wondering how one would offer free sub domains with a new shoutcast account. I'm using cpanel/whm also. Any advice appreciated. Thanks
  14. I could but i'm trying to keep it all inside the wp theme design like the wp bridge does. There is a domain lookup on the client page inside wordpress, maybe i need to get that into a widget also, don't know.
  15. Hi, I'm using the free wordpress whmcs bridge plugin. Could anyone point me in the right direction on adding the domain search into wordpress properly If i just grab the code from whmcs and put it in a widget, it'd just take you out of wp to the whmcs theme. So i guess i need to learn how to do this with other addons if they're used in wp. Thanks
  16. What i did was use that free plugin for wordpress "whmcs bridge" But i only integrated the wp theme with whmcs, not the actual billing in whmcs, as it's not recommended. It creates a new page called whmcs which holds all the features from whmcs, inside the wp page. Then you could use a few of the widgets for sidebar to place whmcs widgets that are included. Actually i'm looking for a better way or trying to complete it this way, adding domains search code is not enough coz it'll take the user out of wordpress and directly to the whmcs theme which i don't want, so that's what i'm searching for now. Anyway good luck
  17. Hi, Having some confusing with the emails in whmcs, i'm seeing the sent tickets in whmcs admin panel, But none of them are being sent to the email i have set in whmcs Ok, so i have an email account created in the cpanel account for the domain name whmcs is hosted on. support@mydomain.com I set the same email for the presales email in whmcs and also the general settings email. I then set up a forwarder in that cpanel account for support@mysite.com I tried forwarding it to my hotmail first, that didn't work, then i read somewhere you had to allow senders and set some filters in hotmail which i tried also, in the end i gave up and tried the same with my gmaile account, I set my support email as default email in gmail by following some steps. I was testing the presales form so i sent an email using a fake email as the sender first, that bounced i think. Basically i can see the tiskets in whmcs admin but they're not arriving at the cpanel email most times. And they're not being forwarded to either gmail or hotmail addresses. any suggestions? Thanks
  18. Hi, In the checkout where it shows your IP at the bottom of the page, That's the same IP that you would find at whatsmyIP right? Is so, then i'm wondering why it shows a different IP than mine. Thanks
  19. Hi, I'm renting whmcs for the time being while i figure out my design setup. I started off with wordpress because the wordpress bridge is free to use, It does an ok job of integrating whmcs, i don't have a login to wordpress for security. But i can't really get any theam for wordpress the way i want them in the client area of whmcs. Those themes are not cheap either, at least 40 bucks a pop, and i can't be doing that. Another option i have is to use joomla which i feel is a better option, but the jwhmcs is 150$. They say it's not a good idea to integrate wp login with whmc, is the same true for joomla? Because i see a lot of sites using joomla with whmcs and full login integration etc. Would it be difficult to do the whmcs integration with joomla by myself? I know i could get a custom theme for whmcs but i like the idea of adding extensions/plugins etc to build up a design. Have a nice deal on whmcs so it's not expensive but i'd like to get my design sorted and start on products then buy whmcs.
  20. Just to add to this thread The top nav problem is being fixed by the whmcs bridge developers. http://forums.zingiri.com/showthread.php?tid=7225
  21. The wordpress whmcs bridge plugin does that job, it's a free plugin, my site I'm not sure about this right now, i'm still fixing the deisgn after using this integrator Although i have started another topic here for advice on design after integrating. Just install the whmcs bridge plugin then enter your whmcs /folder URL in the settings.
  22. Hi, I decided to use wordpress bridge for now, I'm not going to connect wordpress and whmcs logins or databases, for security reasons. Basically the users can explore wordpress which holds design and info for digital products Then lead the user to the client area where they can proceed to place orders, log in etc. Hoping someone has done the same and can give me a few tips, The integration works fine as far as the bridge goes, but i think the whmcs client area is holding the design of the wordpress theme, Which is sort of basic, cms looking still, it doesn't have the look of whmcs by itself. The top nav doesn't show when logged out, it only shows menu items when logged in. I can't fork out for the jwhmcs integration at the moment, even than i don't know if i would tie the joomla and whmcs databases togethe but i'm sure many people have. Basically my plan was to start offering streaming services in Ireland as i haven't come across anyone claiming to offer this service in our country so i'd like to jump on the idea. Any help, advice appreciated My latest project
  23. Hi, Something i am curious about, still in the learning, building stages. I looked at joomla integrator but it is 120$ Then i looked at wordpress and there is whmcs bridge which is free, I tried the free version which doesn't include integrating the wordpress login with whmcs. But the free version did a decent job of binding the wordpress and whmcs design together. So i am thinking, as many people say it's unsafe to have your wordpress and whmcs together as one. Maybe i could have my wordpress install and theme, then have the free whmcs bridge combine them. In other words, don't have whmcs and wp on the same database, keep them separated, so the wp design is built around whmcs but not sharing the same db, would that be the safest way to integrate them? So when a visitor is exploring my site they are seeing wp, sliders, and other wp addons, but when they are viewing anything related to products and services, billing etc, they are logged into whmcs inside wp.
  24. I have used that whmcsbridge plugin for wordpress and it works, but depending on the template/theme i had to customize a lot. Didn't use their pro version that makes whmcs and wordpress into one login. But i am thinking, if you have wordpress on one database and whmcs on another, just keep them seperate logins, i wont be giving people access/login to wordpress, but they can still access whmcs, it just has wordpress around it for the design and features. Might be the safest way to have them together?
  25. Actually.. I have to start over, the whole installation just vanished after setup.. db gone too.. strange happenings.
