wickshosting
I'm wondering if anyone can recommend any Canadian payment processors. Specifically I'm looking to process in USD and of course need one that is supported in WHMCS. Are there any Canadian web hosts out there? What do you use? (We're currently using PayPal and 2CO, but really would like an "on-site" solution). Thanks. Regards Jeff
panacheweb
my only question is why would you want to bill in us dollars... there is only a 5 cent difference at the moment.. MJ
wickshosting
International customers like to pay in $US, so that's why we charge in it. I think we're going to end up going with Internet Secure - just waiting on the paperwork to go through.
amico
wickshosting, read this article (copy and paste): sbinfocanada.about.com/cs/ecommerce/a/payprocessing_2.htm It might be helpful for you, they mention InternetSecure and PSiGate as recommended merchant account providers. Good luck
dgbaker
Does anyone know if WHMCS support version 2 of PSIGate? That's the newer gateway api from them.
DavidJ
dgbaker, Not entirely certain. Right now I've got someone working on a Moneris eSelectPlus plugin / gateway for WHMCS. Hopefully it works, *crosses fingers* Otherwise I'll be stuck going with PSiGate, not that there's anything wrong with them but 24 hour deposits from Moneris sound delicious.

PSIGate is well recommended by many, and deposits every week. Moneris is also more expensive, on setup fees and monthly charges. Unless you need to go to the bank and make withdrawls every day, I don't think having cc deposits every 24 hours would make a big difference at least not for most people.

We've been an IS merchant for 10 years, and just switched from WhoisCart to (the MUCH better) WHMCS, but can't really seeem to get the IS payment plug working.
9DollarDomains
Hi. I got InternetSecure to work. It was just our AVS settings being too restrictive so that any slight problem with the customer's address would decline the transactions, but once we got the exact address correct, it seems to work fine.

Hi There: Do you have an interface to InternetSecure working? What module did you use? I see references to InternetSecure support, but there is nothing in the latest version of WHMCS that mentions it. Is there another module that works instead? How did you do it? Thanks!

I see references to InternetSecure support, but there is nothing in the latest version of WHMCS that mentions it. Is there another module that works instead? How did you do it? Thanks! There already is an InternetSecure module in WHMCS. I'm currently using it and haven't had any serious problems with it. Only thing was getting InternetSecure to approve the order form as I had to make template changes removing some of the WHMCS fields before they'd let me activate.

Only thing was getting InternetSecure to approve the order form as I had to make template changes removing some of the WHMCS fields before they'd let me activate. I'm using WHMCS 3.6.1, and there is no InternetSecure selection in the dropdown for Payment Gateway Configuration, and there is no mention of InternetSecure in the Payment Gateway section of the Support site at http://wiki.whmcs.com/Payment_Gateways Does your system have InternetSecure in the Payment Gateway configuration? What version? And any idea why it's not listed in the wiki? InternetSecure apparently has an Authorize.net emulator, so perhaps that's what I need to use? Thanks for any help to this very confusing situation. Others have said that they use it, but I can't figure out where the module is.
Tony
Well it is an actual gateway and I am using it. Check for yourself: modules/gateways/internetsecure.php It is there
bigsean
the older version of WHMCS supported InternetSecure, it is no longer supported. I would suggest PSIGate as a Canadian merchant that works with WHMCS.
Tony
the older version of WHMCS supported InternetSecure, it is no longer supported. I would suggest PSIGate as a Canadian merchant that works with WHMCS. News to me It was in 3.5.1 and I made a ticket on 05/05/2008 about the gateway and I got a response about it. I believe I was running 3.6.1 at the time and there was no mention of the support for it being gone. So I'll continue to use it considering it works fine and if ever does break I'll just write the module myself.
gerrybakker
PSIgate works well with WHMCS and WHMCS definitely uses the latest version 2 of PSIgate. PSIgate are good people to deal with. I have used them since 2003 without any problems.

minetcalin
Have been using them for over a year .. and cannot complain of anything. Payments, tough a week later, are on time.
filehosts
minetcalin : how do they treat chargebacks? I will try to tweak this thing.. it took me 3 months to get the application done. because before when I used WHMCS it still supports it... Idunno probably someone here tweak there modules to do transaction w/o saving any cc info on databse and just rely on return exports..
tjshin
What about using PayPal? PayPal now offers website pro for Canadians.
filehosts
We are using paypal right now.. but we still need a primary CA based merchant company. Plus personally I dont like that way paypal holds on funds automatically during a chargeback, related claims.
