jasonthewebmaster
HI all, I would like to offer this back to the community as a new Order Form template called "Modern Single Column" I recently modified the Modern orderform template to be a single column template and also a few other tweaks such as giving more width for the title of each product and also moving the order button to the top right under the price. Then I added an area for the description under it all. SCREENSHOT: Modern Single Column.zip

jasonthewebmaster
I found a couple css bugs yesterday so have updated the package. Please download the newest package from my site here: (FREE) https://www.pensaweb.com/clients/cart.php?gid=1 Also, if you have already downloaded this once, just upload the style.css file and over-write existing one. Cheers Jason
easyhosting
BEWARE?? this does not work and the developer thinks it funny, even though its a free addon. below is the email i recived back when i informed him it does not work Hey Terry, Dang that sucks.. I was hoping it would just show up in the admin if it was uploaded. Technically what I did with mine was over-write the existing Modern template. So, here is what you can do... under .../templates/orderforms/ rename the modern folder to modern_backup and then rename your modern_single_column to just modern then select modern in your settings sorry about that... will try to figure out why it would not show up automatically hehe cheers Jason
Daniel
Looks like he's just trying to help and has offered you a solution, what's the problem?
easyhosting
the developer has been working to sort the problems out and i can get this to work by using https://niceday-hosting.co.uk/clients/cart.php?carttpl=modern single column, but just need to figure out why it does not show in the admin area
FlexiHost
I see that you are calling this via ?carttpl=modern single column - why not rename the dir to just single - I don't thin the spaces in there will be helping you are all in the directory name.

Yes i will be changing this to a single name, just making sure it works and trying to get it to display in my admin area https://niceday-hosting.co.uk/clients/cart.php?carttpl=single Edited August 17, 2011 by easyhosting

jasonthewebmaster
LOL! you got it John. ok, so I just uploaded a new version of the template. I am pretty sure the problem was that in two places in the code, I had specified an exact width for the template rather than a percentage, so I have updated those and hopefully it should fit no matter the width of your main body. please let me know if anyone has more trouble with it. cheers Jason modern_single_column_1.2.zip Edited August 20, 2011 by jasonthewebmaster
