MilliR
Hello to all. I am having a slight problem with my WHMCS installation. Whenever a client completes the purchasing transaction, no welcome email is being sent. Whmcs sends the client Info mail, Client Invoice, Order Confirmation and Invoice Payment confirmation mails but does not send the New account information mail. I have used the following settings: I have set my products to be activated as soon as payment is received I have used SMTP as the mailing protocol I have selected the welcome email template to be sent after invoice confirmation I have applied the cronjob The account and all is successfully created. But I have to send the welcome email manually everytime, which really makes the automation pointless. Any suggestions on what I may have done wrong?

m8internet
The main issue is there are many steps that need to be completed in order to get the outcome you want On mine, the order was stalling after the PayPal payment was received, with the account setup on WHM but without the customer receiving the welcome email (and noone here could figure out why this was the case) Sounds like WHMCS is not able to access WHM and setup the account, as you're not receiving either Check this in Servers -> Edit Servers Nextly, are the welcome email and this is processed once the above is completed Once the server is setup correctly check that the server is on a group Select the Server from the left, add to the right
simplybe
Hi, Even though the account is created on the server does whmcs activity log show any errors ? And does whmcs mark the account as active ? I had this problem once and and it was something to do with either the ssl setting or firewall. The account was created but whmcs did not get tthe right response from the server.
MilliR
@m8internet I have done all the steps you listed. Everything goes smoothly till invoice payment confirmation. All mails are sent and my paypal account is credited. Account isalso created successfully in wHM/cpanel and the account shows active in whmcs. But the welcome email with the account details like cpanel login, pass, NS arent being sent automatically!!

Yes, that is exactly where mine was stalling As above, this is caused when the package has not been assigned to a server You need to create the group, then go back through the packages and select the option that should now be visible I have set mine to a ridiculous number of packages, so that any number of orders will always be processed by WHMCS (at least 50%) The option is then selected to add to the server with most capacity / least packages Back to the packages and then select that Server
MilliR
I may have misunderstood something or we are not on the same page . I am a bit confused now. Yes, that is exactly where mine was stalling As above, this is caused when the package has not been assigned to a server You need to create the group, then go back through the packages and select the option that should now be visible The package has been assigned to the relevant server in Products/Services. I created a server group Germany and then added my cpanel server(Germany) to it. I have set mine to a ridiculous number of packages, so that any number of orders will always be processed by WHMCS (at least 50%) The option is then selected to add to the server with most capacity / least packages Back to the packages and then select that Server I am not sure about this. As I said, order is processed by WHMCS i my current config. Even the cPanel account is created in my SERVER. WHMCS notifies client that everything was successfull. But it Fails to send the welcome mail. This is how i have set it. My Prob is
m8internet
Check these : Setup Servers Group -> Selected Edit (right hand side) Servers appears in left column, selected ones in right column Ensure the current ones are in the right column Product / Services Module Settings Module Name -> cPanel Server Group -> selected from above with same name Repeat for each product I notice you have stock control in effect Make sure have set the parameters, as I do not use it
