schindyguy
Is there a way to create my own private registration service to offer customers? Or a WHMCS module that handles that type of email forwarding? Or maybe a third party service to handle it? Thanks for any recommendations you might have.
WHMCS Support Manager WHMCS John Posted January 21, 2011 WHMCS Support Manager Share Posted January 21, 2011 You need to use the privacy service your domain registrar offers. If your registrar offers email forwarding you can use their if the registrar module supports it. Or use an email forwarding service that comes with the hosting service you sell.

nexthost
NetEarthOne is also charging 4-5x more for a domain name, No domains should be higher than $10 or no higher than $15 with domain privacy, they are charging $30 which is ridiculous and overpriced.

I agree that is on the heavy side but then again if they're doing well you can't blame them for charging a high price
bear
NetEarthOne is also charging 4-5x more for a domain name You really should check the reseller pricing there. You're comparing retail pricing (deliberately high to get more people reselling, I'd imagine) to the reseller price, which is substantially lower.

Are you looking at the reseller prices or the prices to the public on their web site. Check out the reseller prices and you will see that they are much lower then ENOM and believe it or not GODADDY and in my opinion they have the higher prices on their web site so that they do not compete with you.
