JLHC
Hello guys, After using the iWHMCS app on my iPhone 4 for some time now, here are some of my suggestions and feedbacks. 1. The "Income" on the Home screen does not match the values in our WHMCS. Weird? 2. There should be more options to view tickets, eg. the ability to list tickets according to status and departments and most importantly, show a list of "All Active Tickets". 3. When viewing a Pending Order details and try to view the details of the product, an error will show up and all product values will show up the word "value". 4. Client's product page lacked the information on which hosting plan and the server the client is hosted on. 5. When viewing profile of a client, it only allow the options to create new ticket, create invoice, add credit, add transactions but not the ability to view the current tickets, invoices, credits and transactions. 6. When viewing a support ticket, there is no way for us to click on the client name and get directed to the client's profile. 7. When viewing a support ticket, it lacked the ability for us to change the support departments or priority, only the option to change the ticket status. 8. Support tickets "Last Reply" time is not accurate as it measures the ticket coming in based on the server time but it compares it with the iPhone time, which may be in a different time zone. Thank you.
WHMCS Ben
Hello, Sorry this one slipped through the cracks. 1. The "Income" on the Home screen does not match the values in our WHMCS. Weird? Is this still an issue? I was not able to reproduce this. 2. There should be more options to view tickets, eg. the ability to list tickets according to status and departments and most importantly, show a list of "All Active Tickets". This is already a feature in iWHMCS. You can view tickets according to department and status from the "Support" tab at the bottom. 3. When viewing a Pending Order details and try to view the details of the product, an error will show up and all product values will show up the word "value". This is a known issue and fixed in the latest release coming soon. 4. Client's product page lacked the information on which hosting plan and the server the client is hosted on. I am a bit confused on this one. If you go to the product detail page it will list the product group and product name. I have noted your request to have the server name added. 5. When viewing profile of a client, it only allow the options to create new ticket, create invoice, add credit, add transactions but not the ability to view the current tickets, invoices, credits and transactions. Thank you we have noted these requests. 6. When viewing a support ticket, there is no way for us to click on the client name and get directed to the client's profile. Good idea, we will get this added. 7. When viewing a support ticket, it lacked the ability for us to change the support departments or priority, only the option to change the ticket status. The API currently does not support this so we will need to update the API and then we can get this added. 8. Support tickets "Last Reply" time is not accurate as it measures the ticket coming in based on the server time but it compares it with the iPhone time, which may be in a different time zone. I see. We will work on this.
JLHC
Thanks for getting back. This is already a feature in iWHMCS. You can view tickets according to department and status from the "Support" tab at the bottom. What I hope to have is something like the ticket list in WHMCS where it shows a summary of All Active Tickets instead of having to go to each department one by one.

JLHC
Hello, Thanks, I have noted this suggestion. Thank you for noting this Ben. It is a hassle to need to go through each department and then ticket status just to check on those tickets. The option should only show All Active Tickets and/or another option to show all Open and Customer-Reply tickets.

dwalley
I have customers that pay me by checks, I need to be able to just click a button to say PAID. I dont need to go thru the add transaction stuff and to find out it dont work. Just be able to go the the unpaid invoices and click PAID. Also once you go to the billing and them to unpaid. The customers name needs to be right there, not an invoice number. When a customer sends a check I have to go thru and find the name of the customer to submit a paid invoice. just a couple of things that I have. Thanks

Don't you want to add a payment so your income gets tracked? The customers name needs to be right there, not an invoice number. When a customer sends a check I have to go thru and find the name of the customer to submit a paid invoice. This was added to the latest version that will be available soon.

WHMCS Support Manager WHMCS John Posted April 5, 2011 WHMCS Support Manager Share Posted April 5, 2011 That's not the correct way to pay an invoice, you need to add a payment against it, so that's probably where you're going wrong: http://docs.whmcs.com/Transactions
dwalley
Strange because it seems to show as income and it goes towards the customers invoice. Been doi g the since June 2010.
geek
Hi, Will there be a client version of WHMCS for our clients, maybe a monthly lease per company or per 10 licenses? Thanks, James
WHMCS Ben
Hi, Will there be a client version of WHMCS for our clients, maybe a monthly lease per company or per 10 licenses? Thanks, James This gets a bit complicated because the we would have to do one of the following: Create a generic app which contains no branding for your company and force the user to enter your URL and you would have to have a generic API account details you would provide them Or we design a generic app but then when purchased we brand it for you and you hard code inside the app the API details and then all they have to do is log in. What specifically do you want your client to do from the application?

I will be willing to pay for this and even a bit more for extra customizations, etc. P/S: Not only iOS but even Android and BlackBerry.

JLHC
What do you want your clients to do from within the application? Some important features to me:- - Submit and View Support Tickets - Important - View Invoices - Pay for Invoices (Not sure whether this is possible) - View Product Details - View and Modify Domain Details - View Knowledgebase - View Server Status - View Announcements / Network Issues - Domain Checker - Add a feature to pull RSS, Twitter, etc.
gmagdic
Hello, We have 2 WHMCS systems and with iWhmcs we can check only one. I know this is a long shot, but is there any way that we could get both of our systems to work with one app? Thanks.
WHMCS Ben
Hello, Yes this is already possible, if you click the icon in the top left on the home page of the app it lets you add more profiles.

I know this is a long shot, but is there any way that we could get both of our systems to work with one app? This is actually already a feature. Go to the "Home" tab within the app. Click the icon on the top left to add more WHMCS profiles. It looks similar to this... [=]
pRieStaKos
Tickets navigation is wrong. I got a ticket with 139 replies and i have to click-click-click........ to navigate through replies Navigation should be slider from top to bot. iPhone is ok with that. (see contact slider feature)

(see contact slider feature) I agree, when I have a ticket with lets say 20 responses it's annoying to have to click the up/down arrows to see the latest reply. The sort order of the ticket should be newest to oldest or implement a scroll of some sort. Cheers
maxihost
It would be good if we can see internal notes on tickets. I cant work using iPhone app if I cant see what my staff are saying about that ticket.
