  1. Auto Terminate/Fixed Term To have a product automatically terminate itself after a certain number of days, for example using a free trial or a time limited product specify the number on the Setup > Products/Services > Edit > Pricing tab and choose an email template to be sent to the client upon cancellation. Cancellation occurs when the cron runs x days after the product registration date. http://wiki.whmcs.com/Products_Management#Cancelling_a_Product.2FService
  2. Under the client "Product/Services" tab, change the Billing Cycle to free.
  3. Did you follow the PayPal setup instructions here http://wiki.whmcs.com/PayPal
  4. Look under the billing tab... Also, was the refund via a credit card transaction? If so, you cant refund a credit card via WHMCS until all your credit card transactions for the day have been cleared at your gateway. You can however log into your gateway and cancel the transaction and then mark it as refunded in WHMCS, but if you want it automated, you have to wait at least 12 to 24 hours before you can use the automated WHMCS refund.
  5. I just love it when forum members provide a better solution and then sit quietly on it and hope we, "Less knowledgeable members" can guess what that solution is. Thanks James, the solution I use works for me, if you have something better to share with the rest of us and its something we could all benefit from, please do. Wishing you a great day.
  6. You have to create a new Email Template and change the login info to Control Panel URL: http://{$service_dedicated_ip}:2082/ Once your domain has propagated, you may also use http://www.{$service_domain}:2082/'>http://www.{$service_domain}:2082/ Notice the $service_dedicated_ip I just cloned the current welcome email template and replaced the login info with the dedicated IP merge field from the available list at the bottom of the email templates This is my entire Welcome Email (Dedicated IP) template
  7. Okay...found it http://wiki.whmcs.com/Importing_Data look at the Manual Domain Only Entry If this is where you have already been, my apologies, I see where it says in the steps, 4. Leave the Billing Cycle dropdown menu set at Monthly I have used that wiki before and never gave that part a thought. It just works. You'll have to wait for one of the more experienced WHMCS users to answer why it has to stay at monthly.
  8. Are you trying to add a domain to an existing client or are you trying to add the domain to the product/services tab? Have any screen sots of your trouble area? If you have a client already setup and you want to add a domain to there account you have ot use the add new order function from either the client summary page or from the main order tab. There is a wiki on how to do this, but I just looked and cant find it.
  9. I had the same problem and opened a ticket with WHMCS... Here is Matt's reply I see from your first screen shot that you have yes under the Auto Close for closed tickets. Uncheck that and you should be good to go.
  10. Admin Area Template Updates - The admin area has had a new menu system implemented and so if you experience any display issues after upgrading, check that the templates_c folder is still writeable and that you've refreshed your browser cache for the new CSS definitions to take effect (either perform a hard refresh or clear your cache). And if you still have problems after that, double check all the file uploads completed successfully. That's from here http://wiki.whmcs.com/Version_4.4_Release_Notes
  11. Take a look at the bug reports area http://forum.whmcs.com/showthread.php?t=34463 There is a post by Matt here that provides the fix. http://forum.whmcs.com/showpost.php?p=171599&postcount=7 Otherwise just go into your products and services and make sure you have the proper email template shown for that product/service.
  12. Not built in that I am aware of. The problem is...at lest in the good ole USA, its illegal to charge someone for using a credit/debt card, meaning the gateway processing fee. But, I do know that some US companies that accept credit cards will charge you a $3.00 fee on top of the cost. At my local Cable company, they have a sign right next to the cashier that says in big bold RED letters that if you pay your cable bill with a credit/debit card, they will tack on a $3.00 processing fee. That's illegal as hell here in the states according to the powers to be, but they do it and get away with it probably because they process so many transactions the merchant/gateway just ignores it until someone complains. There has been other threads about this very same subject. There are some countries that allow you to add on a processing fee, not sure who they are. I also know that there are some eCom scripts out there that have a built in area that allows you to add additional fees/charges to the final cost of an item you are selling. Like shipping/handling fees, restocking fees, credit card processing fess...etc Right now the only way in know of with WHMCS to add a processing fee is to build it into the prices of the item. Others have used some sort of discount procedure, but I've never figured that one out.
  13. Template Changes The following is a list of client area template files that have changed in this release. * announcements.tpl (default template only - fixed twitter link) * clientareahome.tpl (added support for addon output from hooks/modules) * clientareacreditcard.tpl (disabled auto complete for cc fields) * clientareadomaindns.tpl (added support for LogicBoxes remote DNS Record Interface) * clientareadomainemailforwarding.tpl (same as above) * creditcard.tpl (disabled auto complete for cc fields) The following order form template files have also changed: * login.tpl (updated login form post url) * viewcart.tpl (disabled auto complete for cc fields) With the implementation of multi-language support for the admin area, nearly all the admin area templates have changed so we recommend a full replacement of the /admin/templates/ folder and files That's from here http://wiki.whmcs.com/Version_4.4_Release_Notes
  14. Have you cleared your template cache...
  15. The Ajax order form can be found by adding /order to the end of your site Example http://demo.whmcs.com/order/ Its not part of the order templates under the Setup > General > Order
  16. Un-check Require Domain Tick to show domain registration options Setup > Product and Services > Your Product > Details Just under the Product Description section See attached image as well.
  17. I would also like to add that if a client/customer has ID protect enabled and they wish to place an order for an SSL Certificate, the order will sometimes fail if the Certificate authority can not verify the Domain whois info. I've had this happen a few times now.
  18. Well... In order for the client to add funds to there account they have to have an active order # If you want to add the funds via the admin area, you are free to do so without an active order. What I mean by Active Order is that the product or service your client uses has to be a real order with a real order number. If the product or service does not have a order number, this feature will not work for the client. So, you could have a client that you added manually or used some sort of import script and assigned them a product / service manually. In that case, they do not have a real order number in which case they cant add funds to a order that doe snot exist. I have added to Screen Shots of a single client of mine that one product has no order number and one product does. If your clients do not have a product number they will not be able to add funds to there accounts.
  19. This should do the trick http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Web_hosting_service
  20. I'm getting the same thing Not Found The requested URL /saas/installs/23/whmcs/qbus/public/whmcs/intro.php was not found on this server. username is storm121
  21. You need to setup a package in WHM that allows a dedicated IP address... Then you need to make a matching Package in WHMCS for the same thing. They have to mirror each other. I attached to screen shots just in case you’re not familiar.
  22. I was told by my account rep that I would be receiving a coupon code to order mine, that was via email a few days ago. Nothing yet. I'm undecided on how to use GlobalSignSSL... WHMCS has the module, however it does not cover all the nifty features GlobalSignSSL offers like the auto-csr. They have a few different API's to choose from if you decide to go that route. However, it took me about 4 days to be contacted by my rep, however since then we have spoken on the phone and/or email regularly so far.
  23. I just sent an email to my Sales Rep with a link to this thread...
  24. Is anybody using vps.net to resell cloud hosting? I would like to know if your using the WHMCS/vps.net module they are developing. If your not using the WHMCS/vps.net module, how are you setting up your products, configurable options, upgrades, daily nodes...etc... Just looking for suggestions as I would rather not re invent the wheel if there's already a reliable way to offer all vps.net services without using there module. PS: I read in there forums that WHMCS is working on the module as well. Thanks
  25. You need to have purchased one of Sparkys other mods in order to get this. So yes, you need to be an existing paid client of Sparky's to download this mod.
