goldenairways
I have been working the last few days flat out on the hosting biz because I am hoping to get the website online tommorow. But I have tried creating a reseller package and when I tested automation, I got a "New Order Notification" and "Order Comfirmation" e-mail, but after accepting it and making it active it still doesn't work. I have setup a plan in WHM and stuff. I am using Zamfoo. Any help is appreciated.
sparky
Was the invoice "Paid" before you accepted the order?
goldenairways
I beleive so, yes. Just after posting I actually got it sort of working, and I hadn't setup the Autogrant in the Zamfoo. However now I have an issue that it says the username is unavalible so it doesn't create an account. Thanks.
WHMCS Support Manager WHMCS John Posted October 19, 2009 WHMCS Support Manager Share Posted October 19, 2009 WHMCS doesn't support master reseller, you'll need a proper WHM account with permissions to create resellers.

I thought it worked like automated. Ok, I guess i'll just have to manually do it. Thanks
NorthEastHosting
WHMCS doesn't support master reseller, you'll need a proper WHM account with permissions to create resellers. I know this was posted a while ago so I was wondering if this is still the case? Does this mean that WHMCS does not support creation of "Master Reseller" accounts, OR, that it doesnt support the creation of "Reseller" accounts by a Master Reseller. Regards, Peter EDIT - just realised I was looking at the Join Date rather than the posted date so I guess its still a valid statement, just not quite sure I understand it still.
othellotech
Does this mean that WHMCS does not support creation of "Master Reseller" accounts, OR, that it doesnt support the creation of "Reseller" accounts by a Master Reseller. Both as neither are part of or supported by cpanel, and so not controlled by the cpanel module
GGWH-James
Have a look at WHMPHP and their WHMCS module.
HostinPK
WHMCS should support Zamfoo because most of the Reseller providers are using zamfoo. Any staff member can give us any detail regarding this. Is there any work on this in future versions??
othellotech
because most of the Reseller providers are using A tiny number of people are using 3rd-party software to "fake" multi-level reseller accounts - a few thousand copies of Zamffoo/WHMR etc sold vs millions of copies of CPanel - not even 1%, so certainly not "most"... If you're after a reseller account - get a real/full reseller account from a providers who gives their clients access to real reseller accounts. If you're looking to sell reseller accounts - get your own server - offering "multi-tiered" psuedo resellers is just a disaster-waiting-to-happen in my experience.
