zacore
For the forth time the footer is showing in the client area of my no branded license. I paid for no branding and the branding keeps showing up at: https://zacore.com/secure/clientarea.php What is it going to take for this branding not to show ever again you guys keep fixing this and then it shows up a few days later and I'm not in the business of sending support tickets constantly. I switched all of my clients from my old software (which i never had a problem with a footer) thinking this system would help and this keeps being an ongoing problem. If you guys cant keep the branding off my footer there will be a real problem from my company and i would need a full refund and will take legal action for the loss of business from wasting time to submit a ticket over and over and over for the same thing. This is getting to be really upsetting i have a business to run and you guys are playing games with the footer of my website going against the no branded licensing i purchased. Honor my license and keep my footer clear from the following footer "Powered by WHMCompleteSolution" this is the last ticket im sending about this matter. REMOVE THE FOOTER OFF MY SITE ASAP
HostOrca
You'll take legal action because the powered by line keeps appearing? Are you for real? I would have thought that you would have more important things to do, than be so upset about that. Yes they need to fix it, I have a unbranded licence aswell, but threatening legal action, over this minor issue, is just stupid.
WHMCS CEO Matt Posted June 29, 2009 WHMCS CEO Share Posted June 29, 2009 Hi Chino, The branding will show only when your license is invalid for the location it's being used in. Please open a ticket with your admin url and login details so we can update the license for you. Matt

Unlikely, as your claims would probably be laughed out of court.
Stream101
Loss of business? Honestly, how is a line of words going to make you lose business?

merlinpa1969
Actually he has a valid claim.. and the loss of business will probably come from the time it takes to move everything to a new billing system. while you all make rude comments realize that he is correct and would have a case...... And you are a lawyer yourself? I never said whether he had a valid claim or not. I was commenting on the threat of legal action, over something so trivial as a powered by line. Some people seem to think the best way to get what they want is to threaten legal action, when, in reality, you are more likely to get the issue solved by discussing the issue, and trying to come to an solution. turtlepirate
Well I'd get kind of annoyed if this kept happening over and over. It seems like he tried to discuss this several times with support.
dkent
I've had a few words with my half brother who is actually a lawyer, who specifically deals with Business law. This is what he told me. "He doesn't have a leg to stand on, really. The fact that there is a problem with "software" does not give such person the right to proceed with any legal action whatsoever." "Also, if any product or service (in this case, "the software") does not live up to what it is supposed to do, then the only thing a client is able to do is claim for a full refund, nothing else. His case would simply not even go to court." So I suggest you think twice before threatening with any legal action, and if you do want to "try your luck", it will only be you spending a fortune trying to sue! OK, now that's cleared up... I had problems with the Branding Removal, however once I updated the license after purchase, it worked. I suggest you be patient and take a chill pill! C Powell
i suppose it is just a crafty way of getting backlinks isn't it. the guy put in for no branding NOT semi-no branding heh. whmcs team will sort it.
minadreapta
this usually can't even reach court in the country where i come from. just because all the other means of solving the issue were not taken. have you tried to -open up a ticket? -email them? -eventually to call them? -ask for support on this forum? -request a refund? no, you just post your 1st post threatening with legal action. LOL.

Someone with a normal and correct addition to this topic. Thank you. I've seen people with very strange remarks in this topic. They obviously did not follow any legal eduction what so ever...
