I've been able to replicate this issue on my end as well. As such I've opened case #CORE-19688 with our developers in order to have this reviewed for future releases. Once we resolve cases and push features they are available at our change log, here:

I had already checked the hotfixes community category before posting.  I was hoping WHMCS staff would give a status (there is a hotfix, one is coming, or it is going to be fixed in the next version).  Sometimes WHMCS also gives hotfixes only upon request, that they do not post in the forums.
