Adding Spotlight Domains to Cart (CORE-17176)

Hello,

Do you know if there is a fix for #CORE-17176 ?

I'm not available to add more than one domain to my cart when ordering domain with hosting plan.
On each domain that appears available, when you click "Add to cart" it become "taken"...

When I go trough ordering domain only, it works well...

Best regards.

I am having the exact same issue with my installation. I can add one domain, when ordering a domain with a hosting plan, but when I try to order an additional one, the Add to cart switched to taken, even though the domain is available. Works fine when just ordering a domain. Also it seems a bit sporadic - on occasions it seems to work OK.

Also sometimes the "taken" domain is added to the cart anyway, and on other times it is not.

I have tested this with a range of templates and the same issue occurs.

Hi all,

We currently have case CORE-17176 open with the development team to resolve an issue adding spotlight domains to the cart.

I've tagged this thread against the case, so that should a hotfix or workaround be discovered in the meantime, we will let you know.

Our apologies for the inconvenience, and I appreciate your patience as we work to resolve this.

Hi @chonk,

Case CORE-17176 was a regression which affected a number of users, and has been addressed in 8.4 RC-1 released on 17th December: https://docs.whmcs.com/Changelog:WHMCS_V8.4.0_RC_1

v8.4 is currently in pre-release testing, please do give it a try and share your feedback with us:

Hi John

Can you provide a patch for version 8.3.2  instead of users having to use 8.4 beta software in a live environment?

Thanks

I kind of think you could copy your live site to a test install and apply these changes:

https://github.com/WHMCS/orderforms-standard_cart/commit/30a805a7ecf9c7e1bab96d88df174f4fd79fd12a

I'm on the same thought process as you. I'm not interested in 8.4 so I'm going to try this too.
