"Global Date Format" not used in domain sync emails

As in the subject, the domain sync emails are not using/honoring the "Global Date Format" set in the admin (MM/DD/YYYY). 
Most recent one received: "Domain Synchronisation Cron Report for 12-08-2021 20:05:03". Month and day are reversed.

Have I missed another setting, or is this something I have to live with because it's hard coded?
