Okay. It's not that we never want to send out such emails but surely not right now.

Actually I wanted to know that why this email wasn't sent out while Paypal and another gateway was configured from the beginning ? Only when we configured Stripe this email was sent out for the first time.  Stripe Gateway was named as Credit Card, is this the reason ?

3. Customize the Display Name. We recommend setting this to Credit Card.

I can understand that it's not related to Stripe directly and must be a setting within but don't know where to locate it.

PP wouldn't (shouldn't) use credit card email templates.

Credit Card Payment Due is when used when the client has selected a credit card payment method but no card is on file

This is a notice to remind you that you have an invoice due on {$invoice_date_due}. We tried to bill you automatically but were unable to because we don't have your credit card details on file.

to expand on that, that is because WHMCS considered credit cards really the only automated payment where as others required manual.   Paypal, via the built-in modules, doesn't do automatic payments beyond the subscriptions junk.   The credit card template needs to be replaced to automated payment or something.
