.. Or just edit the new template by using a child theme. Check the documentation.

If only it was that easy.  I had a customised home page based on the old six theme.  Trying to get the content into twenty-one child homepage.tpl to get the same look is an exercise in frustration.

The new client area is a vast improvement, but switching themes is impossible...if only WHMCS could learn from WordPress.

There is a new six theme as well.. that might be easier for you.

and you can use child themes with Six too - but remember if using a child theme (at least with Six or 21) to install the pagination hotfix, otherwise there will be issues until it gets included in the v8.1.1 maintenance update.

They *HAVE* learnt from Wordpress. The new child theming system is lifted almost identically from how Wordpress does it. You have a main theme and your custom mods are done in the child theme.

It's what we asked for 7 years ago. https://requests.whmcs.com/topic/whmcs-child-themes-in-wordpress-style-to-make-upgrades-less-work
