How to create hook to notify via email about ticket assign

Hi guys,

Are there any hooks for sending email notification to operator when a ticket is being assigned to him ? 

I have operators that get involved only when tickets are assigned to them but they have to check admin page every so hrs. To make the process easier a email notification when ticket is assigned to them would make life easier.

how are you assigning the ticket to them ??

if you Flag them from the Options tab, the assigned admin (unless you are assigning to yourself) should receive an email (using the Support Ticket Change Notification template) telling them that they've been assigned to the ticket.

when i assign ticket to operator he doesn't get a notification about it.

is the email template disabled ?

I double-checked by testing it locally before posting, and the support operator received the email when I flagged a ticket to them.
