Include Domain Name in Cancellation Request

Is there a way to include the service domain name in the the cancellation request email?

I tried adding {$service_domain} to the New Cancellation Request email template, but that doesn't seem to work.

{$service_product_description} doesn't appear to work here either.

So, no way for an admin to know what domain name is being referenced without logging into WHMCS?

not out of the box, possibly you could use a cancellationrequest hook to send an admin email (using the API) which would allow you to customise the message... the hook would give you the id of the service being cancelled - from that value, you should be able to get the domain and add it to your custom message or subject... I suppose the hook could open a ticket instead and that would generate an email.

... but if you're only getting occasional cancellations, it might just be easier to login to WHMCS. 🙂
