For this, you just need to enable "Affiliate Pay Amount" as One Time Payout for all products (Edit Product -> Other tab). Quote At the moment affiliate commission can either be paid as one time or recurring indefinitely. It would be great to be able to specify how long we would like the recurring commissions to last for Eg 12 months. So if an affiliate signs up 2 clients, the affiliate would get 12 months of recurring commission from each of those clients, and then the commissions would stop from those 2 clients ... even if you added your vote to it, I don't think that's going to make any difference. you could check in Marketplace for third-party solutions - e.g I know Kian's Commissions Manager addon can terminate recurring commission after x months, but I don't know if it still works with the latest versions of WHMCS.
