jacksony
Hi, We see the ability to offer CodeGuard from WHMCS. However how does it works if customer buy it from there? Does it mean if customer has a cPanel or Plesk hosting in WHMCS, CodeGuard will be able to do the backup from it auotmatically?
steven99
Their site doesn't really give much technical details without a login, so guessing at it the WHMCS module sets up the backup service on their side using the client's cpanel / control panel login info for example. Best to contact them directly to get more info on how it would work.
WHMCS ChrisD
@jacksony, theres a bit more information at https://marketplace.whmcs.com/help/connect/kb/codeguard_website_backup we simply resell CodeGuard, you would get access to the codeguard portal and be able to access it the Help Docs provide more detail
jacksony
Thanks for the update and information. Yep we will look more into it. But it definitely make it harder for us to understand how it works (in order to activate and resell) for our customer usage. But from the look of it, I think that it is a standalone product, without integration to cPanel/Plesk service which might be in WHMCS customer's account.
